As we begin to introduce the book of Genesis, we look at the idea of creation and the attack of the Bible that started in Europe in the mid-18th Century in Europe and quickly moved to the U.S. In discussing this, we touch on topics of textual criticism, inerrancy, and implications as we prepare to go into the text of Genesis.

The idea of 2 Peter 3:11-13 is "The Patience of Faith." In this section we learn that  We must have patient faith! In verse 11 we see that 1) Patient faith requires godly living. In verse 12 we see that 2) Patient faith anticipates the fulfillment of God's Word for this world. Then, in verse 13 we see that 3) Patient faith looks to eternity.
