Family relationships affect everything: an up close and personal look at the parent-child, the sibling and the adopted children of God relationships.

God wants to use the people in our lives to bless us and for us to bless them. But if we choose to avoid relationships because we fear to be rejected or we feel like rejecting certain people ourselves, we can't live how God wants us to live. If we want to be like him, we have to learn to love like him.

Everything we want to do in life, every dream, every aspiration, every hope is connected to relationships. Relationships are a symbol of our understanding and acceptance of God’s love for us. How do we transform relationships and environments that invite people in?

God doesn't demand anything from us. We don't have to make sacrifices, he made the greatest sacrifice once and for all. We don't have to earn his grace, we just have to open our hands to receive it.

God wants to fill our boat - but are we making our boats available for him, are we willing to go deeper, to row out and to let down our nets?

God has entrusted us with many talents and things. It's our responsability to use them so that we will receive authority and gain increase in our lives.

Have you ever been to a pet store and seen a rat in a cage, running inside a wheel that is spinning but going nowhere? Do you feel like you are in this rat race yourself when it comes to money and finances?

Many believers go through life thinking that because they are not rich, they are poor. Some keep hoping for the day when they will become rich and have no more challenges. But our father in heaven has already made us far richer in things that matter.

Many people know how they should live, yet feel unable to do anything about it - because they are resistant to change and because they find it difficult to break away from external influences, ways of thinking and conclusions formed in their mind.

Are you a silent griever? Do you believe that you can never show weaknesses, doubts and that you have to be cheerful and happy even though your heart is breaking inside of you?

If we just try to change our attitudes or behaviors without dealing with our basic mindset, the changes will only be temporary. Only renewing our mind can deliver us from limping around in the failures of our past.

Many believers still struggle with sin, failure, insecurity, depression and poor self image. Most don't realize the effect their mind and thoughts have on their spiritual lives.

How do we know the Lord's timing in our life? Jesus provides us with the perfect example of both waiting and going that we can follow.

A revelation of grace always leads to freedom and joy. We don't have to sin any more to fulfill unmet needs and desires because King Jesus becomes our complete satisfaction.

When Jesus wins our heart through his grace, our natural response is to crown him as Lord of our life. The shocking truth of the gospel transforms us into people that yield and receive from him, not resist and reject him.

We have embraced ideas and values that contradict the Gospel of Jesus Christ being Lord. Let's take an honest look at the Jesus of the Bible as Lord and what the consequences might be if we really embraced him and lived for him alone.

We can dwell in God's house, but not receive anything that he has provided for us there. To change this, we need to believe that we have received his gifts.

Becoming obsessed with what people think about us is the quickest way to forget what God thinks about us. Our worth is based on what he says about us - our focus should be on pleasing him instead of pleasing people.

The key to getting past our past is knowing who we are, because affirmation releases potential. As new persons in Christ, his goodness and mercy will follow us and will never leave.

We are easily offended, but we are called to act like the good shepherd: to give others the benefit of a doubt, not label them and forgive them as we have been forgiven.

We are more connected than ever before and lonelier than ever before. But in the valley of the shadow of death, only a closer relationship with God can help us - not an earthly friend.

God's version of our best life is one that gives him the glory: we need to ask the right questions, chose to be like Christ and respond according to our faith.

When we try to control people and things, our ego wants to be in control, edging God out. But is it really worth our concern, ours to control - and have we given it over to God?

If you feel like a black or like a lost sheep, if the pressure is intense and even if others have left you all alone, Jesus the Good Shepherd hears your cries. Help is on the way from the Lord.

When we live the Jesus culture of the early desciples, it will reflect and glorify God in such a way that we never want anything less for ourselves, our family, friends, neigbors and colleagues.
