Another set of pearls are God's promises for our lives - and they can be trampled by the pigs of missing revelation. But even if you can't see God's purpose, he always delivers on his promises.

God wants us to be well nourished. But our nourishment doesn't come from just knowing his will, but from doing it: to minister and meet the needs of hurting people. Who in your life is hurting? Whom do you need to reach out to?

One of God's pearls is his purpose for our life. But there will be people, situations and temptations - the pigs - that trample on it and cause us pain. How can we grow through this pain?

Does your faith grow or is it asleep? God has given each of us a measure of faith - and to grow it, we must use and express our faith through works.

Do you find yourself judging others? Not even in a little way? Whether it's justified or not, Jesus calls us to be impartial, because his church is a safe house from judgement.

It's normal and okay to be around Jesus and still have doubts in him or in yourself. Doubt doesn't stop God from using you - but he wants you to move from doubt to faith.

A very practical way to experience God's grace is having communion with one another. Are you participating in it routinely and without much consideration? Then Paul's words are here to remind you what it really means.

Don't change the subject with God: his subject is grace, but we want to make it into religion. But religion will cause you to miss what God is trying to do through you.
