We mortals are in very deed the literal offspring of God. If humanity, as a whole, understood, believed, and accepted this truth and lived by it, our sick and dying society would be reformed and redeemed, and men would have peace here and now and eternal joy in the hereafter.

There is power in numbers, as we find in Matthew 18:20 - "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." We should never underestimate the power of gathering, whether it is offering prayers with others for specific reasons, showing up at a virtues circle, in church, or in memorial services; gathering is honoring the holy places in our lives and relationships.
