We live in a time when special interest groups, power-hungry politicians, followers of convenience, along with Satan and his minions would all have you believe,  “Anything is fine as long as  it is what you want.”  Today, we will look at one of the most heinous crimes against humanity—a topic that will be our focus today and throughout the remainder of August 2024.

We know of angels singing at the birth of Jesus, warning Joseph to flee to Egypt with baby Jesus and his mother. We know of angels appearing throughout the holy scriptures and many of us talk of guardian angels. In these times, we need the angels among us to help us navigate the evils of today.

Most everyone procrastinates. This thief of time can be a plague in our lives. It can be overcome by resolving to ACT NOW.

Gifts any of us can give this Christmas include: mend a broken bridge of love. .Seek out a friend with whom you've lost touch. Replace suspicion with trust. Write a letter, as there is something about a handwritten letter that touches the heart. Give a soft answer. Encourage our young people and see in them the light of Christ.

Believing no matter what keeps us closer to heaven.

“Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man.” Let us embrace this message and strive to see the world through the eyes of a child this Christmas season, embracing the reason for the season and the power of repentance.
