As we continue our series in the book of Mark we come across the feeding of the five thousand. In this miracle, we see Jesus as the fulfillment of Moses cry for a shepherd in Numbers 27, the fulfillment of Ezekiel's prophecy in Ezekiel 34, and the fulfillment of our greatest desires and longings today.

What does it look like to live by faith? In this passage, two radically different people find themselves at the feet of Jesus where His authority meets their active faith. Faith that reaches out to Him in desperation, and faith that walks with Him into death itself.

As we continue our series in the book of Mark, we find Jesus calming the stormy sea and the chaos within a demonized man. In this passage, we find Jesus as the ruler of all creation, restoring creation into its proper order.

Who is Jesus? This is the question that hangs over the entire book of Mark. In Mark 2:23-3:6 we find Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath claiming to be the meeting place between heaven and earth, the source of joy and delight, and the one who is bringing a Sabbath-like Kingdom to this world.

We continue our series in the book of Mark by diving into the the healings of two different men. In each case we find that Jesus cures their incurable conditions, sparks a conversation, and leaves them with a command. Through it all, we find that Jesus diagnoses the greatest problem in the world, and offers a solution.

As we continue our series in the gospel of Mark, we find that Jesus 'ministry begins with a life-changing announcement: the Kingdom of God is at hand. Pastor Tyler concludes our thematic overview of the book of Acts with a final message titled, "Living in the Kingdom" from Acts 27. In this passage we see that through the Storm, Shipwreck, and Salvation, God's will is coming to fruition through the life of Paul as we he surrenders to the Holy Spirit.

As we enter the final scene of the book of Acts, we find that in certain ways Paul's final journeys reflect Jesus' own journeys. Although there are differences, we find that the kingdom of God prevails through weakness, adversity and difficulty. Through it all, Jesus is writing a grand story of redemption. Scene 6 opens with the Holy Spirit forbidding Paul from entering Asia and concludes with Paul being led by the Spirit into Asia. How do we make since of the mess and mystery of the Kingdom? As we continue our series in the book of Acts we open to Scene 04, "The International Church". In this scene we take a look at Peter's Vision, Cornelius' Conversion, and Gospel Inclusion. We find the Spirit taking the Gospel through social, ethnic, and political barriers.

"The Blood of the Martyrs is the Seed of the Church". That is the title we've chosen for Scene 03 of our study in the book of Acts. The scene begins with Stephen's death and ends with Saul's conversion. A powerful reminder of the grace of our God.
