In all our sufferings and afflictions God comforts us and commissions us as agents of comfort and encouragement unto others using the help and comfort we have received from God. It's our docility to keep to the will of God that enables to live out the beatitudes as given by Jesus in the Gospel of today (Matthew 5:1-12).

Those who put their trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken (Psalm 125:1). When we wait upon the Lord our God in firm faith and with docility to his will He fulfils our hope and aspirations.

Many are the trials of the just man but from them all the Lord delivers him (Psalms 34:19). Though the righteous may go through challenges, God certainly vindicates him and glorifies him. It pays to be consistent in righteousness and persistent in prayer.
