This month, we’re creating awesome popcorn containers for new and classic movies. Who wouldn’t want to eat popcorn out of the ark of the covenant or Mt. Doom? Host:  Eugene...

Another year has come and gone and we’re looking back at our favorite movies, TV shows, books and other media from 2023. It’s that time of year again, time to release the Kraken… uh, I mean the Carey! Or maybe not. Some people listen to Christmas music all year long. Some people only listen during certain times of the year. No matter which camp you are in, we all have Christmas songs we like more than others. This month, we’re doing a Sweet 16 of some of our favorite Christmas songs. Will Mariah Carey dominate this...

Legacy sequels are nothing new but doing them the right way seems to be. Several movies have done it to include Ghostbusters and Top Gun and so have several TV series like Roseanne, now The Conners, and Night Court. So we thought we would give it a shot. This month, we each pick a sitcom series and create several episodes for a legacy season. Host:  Eugene Stephens Guests: Kris Andrew , Ray A...

We love movies, TV shows and books and one of the coolest things you see in those fictional worlds are the impossible jobs some of the characters have. Who wouldn’t want to use magic or advanced technology in their day to day jobs? Of course some fictional jobs also come with some major draw backs… like dying. This month we go job hunting in some of our favorite fictional worlds. Host:  Eugen...

Have you seen the TikTok where the guy realizes that because the Lord of the Rings is rated PG-13, it could have had an f-bomb in it? Did you know PG-13 rated movies are allowed one f-bomb? Armed with that knowledge we are adding f-bombs to PG-13 movies that didn’t have them. And because the PG-13 rating wasn’t added until July 1, 1984, we’re adding them to movies that were PG but clearly should h...

The ring must be destroyed! Carried to the foot of Mount Doom and thrown into the volcano there in order to destroy its evil power. So, who’s going? Maybe Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy? Perhaps they will be joined by Simba, Buzz Lightyear and Kermit the frog? This month we are casting Disney characters to fill the shoes of our fellowship, as well as some other key players in the Lord of the...

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Pandora: The World of Avatar and the new Super Mario World theme parks are a hit and a clear indication single theme parks can work extremely well. The advent of VR rides has greatly expanded what is possible in bringing fantasy and sci-fi properties to the real world. This month the whole crew gets together to share ideas on what we would like to see in a theme park in t...

The media has recently been highlighting how adults have turned to collecting and playing with kids toys, action figures and Lego. They have even given them a new name, “kidults.” But this is not a new thing. Adults have been doing this for decades, maybe forever. Model trains, doll collections and trading cards have been around and were common fixtures in our parents’ and grandparents’ homes. So...

It’s not every day two of the members of a podcast get married to each other. It’s also not every day some of the Canadians make their way down to Texas. So this month we’re discussing all of the fun we had at Lanie and Joseph’s wedding. Oh and how the rain and cold weather almost ruined everything. Host:  Eugene Stephens Guests: Kris Andrew , Ray Andrew , Shaun McLaren , Joseph Moroles , Ela...

Have you gone back and watched a movie or TV show or reread a book and thought, “you know, the antagonist really wasn’t that bad of a person. In fact, if a groups of kids did that to me, I’d probably react the same way.” Perhaps now the cool guy you looked up to in your earlier years isn’t really that cool now, in fact he’s a down right jerk. This month we’re looking back at media we watched when...

You might have seen going around social media asking commenters to, “pick a movie, keep one actor, the rest are replaced with Muppets.” We did and decided to do just that. But it’s our Halloween episode, so we needed to do something spooky or Halloween related. So we did. This month we each pick at least two Halloween or horror movies and turn them into Muppet movies. Disney, if you are listening,...

An evil wizard has cast a spell and sucked you into the television. In order to return to the normal world, you must create a DnD group comprised of Saturday morning cartoon characters and complete the quest to defeat the wizard and his guardian, a giant, fire breathing dragon. Roll for initiative! Host:  Eugene Stephens Guests: Kris Andrew , Ray Andrew , Joseph Moroles , Shaun McLaren Like t...

Host:  Eugene Stephens Guests: Kris Andrew , Ray Andrew ,...

This is a safe, judgement-free zone so feel free to share secrets. Host:  Eugene Stephens Gue...

While we have a pretty stable cast, some of the members haven’t always been here. So we’re going all the way back to episode 2 and asking the hard either or questions we asked back then. Have the answers from those who were there changed? What will the “new guys” answer? Which is the better super power: flight or invisibility? Which would you rather be turned into: a werewolf or a vampire? Which i...

They beat the big bad. They conquered the world. Or maybe they realized it was never going to work out. So where are they now? We’re taking a look at fictional characters from movies, TV shows, books and video games and coming up with ideas for where they are now. Did they double down on their dream or did they say, “forget this,” and did something completely different. Most people have multiple c...

The Academy Awards are coming up and if you are like us, the winners are not always our favorite. The winners are not supposed to be everyone’s favorite from that year, it’s supposed to be the best or most influential movie. But what if it isn’t? This month we’re taking a look back at winning movies and discussing if over time, they were actually the best or most influential. What should have real...

Raising your kids to follow in your footsteps has been a thing since the dawn of time and so has rebelling against it. Jocks want to see their kids do well in sports, the local butcher wants to see their kid take over the family business, etc. But when you’re a geek, its our interest we want to share with our offspring. Movies, TV shows, video games, Sci-fi, fantasy, Legos! This month Shaun, Krist...

Here’s to 2022 being a great year for movies, TV, video games and...

This is a spoiler filled discussion so if you haven’t seen the movie yet, maybe come back after you have. And if you haven’t se...
