Pastor Scott is preaching today

This coming Sunday we will be considering Jesus' encounter with the demon possessed man in Mark 5 as we continue our summer preaching series 'Uncomfortable.' We will be reminded that the voice of God is heard in the cries of the wounded, the hopeless and the abandoned who are crying out for help.

This coming Sunday we will be continuing our summer preaching series entitled ‘Uncomfortable’. This week we will be considering an encounter that Jesus had with a sinful woman at the house of Simon the Pharisee in Luke 7. We will be reminded that we are often judgmental of those whose sins are different than our own.

As followers of Jesus we are called to be humble as he is humble; giving our lives to the cause of elevating and embracing the value of others, to speak for those who have no voice, and to use our position of privilege to elevate those who have no privilege.

This week we will be concluding our sermon series 'Finding Faith'. As we conclude this series we will be reminded that Jesus is our inspiration to endure when life is hard and we feel like giving up.

This week we will be continuing our sermon series based on Hebrews 11 entitled 'Finding Faith' by taking a look at the faith of David. David teaches us that being a person of faith doesn’t mean you are perfect. Being a person of faith means acknowledging our sins and being willing to respond to accountability with repentance.
