What influences are you under the most? Just because we have God's Spirit inside of us does not mean we have God's Spirit influencing us. Jordan gives us three things we can do to come under the influence of God in a culture that is constantly pulling us to be influenced by the ways of this world.

Pastor Roger reminds us that we are all good seeds, but in order to flourish and grow we need to make sure we are spending time reading, listening to, and obeying the word of God.

In this week's message, Pastor Noah identifies some ways to see what it means to live the life you were made for. He shares that Jesus wants to ignite your passion, surround you with people, and fill you with this purpose.

Jesus didn’t die on the cross to give us a problem free life; he died to give us a joy that remains through any problem. In this life we will have troubles, hardships, and pain, but we because of this sacrifice and the promise we have in eternal life, we can still choose joy every day.

In the final week of our Maintain the Gain Series, Pastor Brian gives us four tools to use when we are dealing with discouragement in our lives and emphasizes that "If we don’t know how to master discouragement, discouragement is going to master us."

God is inviting YOU into the purpose He gave you and he wants you to join him in helping new life come to a broken world. But, we can't do this alone - we need a community of Christians that can help each of us live fully on mission for God because we can't and shouldn't do this alone. Pastor Brian shares five qualities/elements that being in this kind of community requires.

Pastor Brian gives four ways we can fight for hope when we experience hardship. He emphasized the importance of living out this attitude of hope in order to help us maintain the gain and not fall into helplessness, negativity, and giving up.

We will experience trials, but God wants to help us move from hardship to the finish line. The key to advancing forward is understanding God's purpose in how far we have come, and this serves as a reminder of the progress we have made.

We are chosen and loved by God, and because of the sacrifice of Jesus death on the cross we can live a holy life. One powerful way to maintain the gain in your walk with the Lord is to recognize that you have been set apart. It affects the way we treat ourselves and others, what motivates us and how we respond.

Pastor Brian presented four dangers that can arise when we rely on our own strength during seasons of winning. Declaring praise in victory and recognizing God is working even throughout the small details are just a few of the ways he mentioned that can help keep us on a path to surviving success!

Jesus offers peace even when we feel stuck and trapped. The resurrection proves he has the power to bring that peace and joy and puts our problems into perspective.

In the 3rd week of our Chasing the Bag Series, Pastor Brian talked about the dangers of discontentment and how they can get in the way of us living into the stewards God calls us to be. When our goals are aligned with the heart of Jesus, we will find our satisfaction and contentment in Christ.

When we give ourselves to the Lord first, we realize what a true privilege it is to be generous with our finances in giving to advance the kingdom.

This week we kicked off our Chasing the Bag series that focuses on stewardship and generosity. Week one was about our heart posture, and when our hearts are aligned with the heart of our Father, we will automatically care about what he cares about. The way we steward our finances is a direct reflection of our relationship with him, and how we handle our money is an outflow of what's in our hearts.

"Humans were designed to be defined by a voice outside of themselves" Jerrell Jobe reminded us that the voices that we give access and attention to will have authority in our lives. Are we allowing the words of the Bible to lead us, or the words of this world?

During Vision Sunday, Pastor Brian shared where we have been and our hopes for the future as a church. We are believing for big things and continuing to make the name of Jesus famous in the upcoming year.
