The cross where Jesus Christ died was not pretty, or hip, or cool, or fashionable. The Cross where Jesus died was a blood bath, and without the shedding of His blood no one could be saved.

The Christian life isn’t always good feelings and quick results. There are dry seasons when the feelings aren’t there, and we struggle to see results that once came easy.  Anyone can live as they should when it’s the rainy season, but the truly victorious, the ones who endure till the end, the ones who change the world, they are the ones who stay the course through the dry season.

As God’s children we are not only called to bear the burdens of others we are called to be vulnerable and allow others to help us carry our own.

The heart of Jesus is always toward the one lost sheep, and if we have His heart within us, we will prioritize the lost over all who are already safely in Christ.

One day, when we see Jesus face to face, everything will change. Our troubles will be over, our questions will be answered, and we will be like Him. So how do we live in light of this truth?

In every corner of life God places an individual who will advance the Kingdom, fight the enemy, help those in need, stand up for the oppressed, love the unloved, and spread His message of hope. Your world needs someone like that. Will you be THAT-MAN?

Jesus came to Earth to live a perfect life for and die in your place. He took all the blame, all the shame, and all the pain of sin upon Himself, so why are you carrying the load He already carried?

Accountability is a biblical tool God has given Christians to help us live according to the standard of the Word of God. But being willingly accountable to others is not always easy. Your feelings are not the standard by which the Christian life should be lived, and if you live to please your every appetite, you will live a misguided and inconsistent life. God’s word is the standard for the Christian, and obedience to it should be our daily endeavor.

One sign of a mature Christian is their desire to please God. If you live to please others, then others will determine the outcomes of your life. If you live to please yourself, then you will determine the outcomes of your life. But if you live to please God, then God will determine the outcomes of your life.
