Encouraging Christians

Jesus taught us to pray, “Our Father, which art in Heaven.” Does this mean that God is only in Heaven? Does it mean that God reigns in Heaven and over all? Matthew 6:9

Jesus taught us to communicate with God. How is your relationship, fellowship, and communication with God today?

Is your heart producing fruit like good soil does? Matthew 13

Thorns cause pain. Life pains can choke out the truth of God’s Word and keep us from being fruitful. Matthew 13

Surface Christianity is not a real change producing Christianity. It must go beneath and soften the heart for the roots to get deep and produce lasting fruit. Matthew 13:20-21

When God sows the seed of His Word in your heart, do you receive it immediately or reject it? Matthew 13:18-19

Why do you sow the Word of the Gospel? Why don’t you sow the Word of the Gospel? We are results oriented. Are we responsible to sow? Are we responsible for the results? Matthew 13:4

Are you distracted from sowing the Word of God with those around you? Do you always have something else to do that delays you from telling people the truth about Jesus and Heaven? Are you a Doer of the Word or just a hearer? Matthew 13:4

Are you wandering through life and not sure of why you are here? Are you unsure of God’s purpose and plan for you? Once you know your purpose, you can work a plan to fulfill your purpose. Matthew 13

Your heart and my heart get mixed up with preconceived ideas and notions that aren’t Biblical. Sometimes we just get hardened hearts to the truth of God’s Word. Parables bring truth to the center of the heart. Matthew 13

God is responding to your faith right now. What are you believing and trusting Him for and with? Matthew 9:29

Would God say to you, “O ye of little faith” or “I have not found so great faith”? Matthew 8:10

God wants you and I to simply trust Him and obey Him. Attached to obedience to God comes the blessing He intends for you. Don’t be reluctant in your obedience to Him and He won’t be reluctant in blessing you. Jonah 1-2

Who encourages you as a Christian in your life? Who are you and encourager to? Philippians 1:3-5

When the enemy comes in like a flood, what will happen to you? Will you stand? Will you fall? Will God stand for you? Isaiah 59:19

When you go through dangerous waters in life, God IS with you! Isaiah 43:2

No matter how we feel in life - like God isn’t here, what is God doing, He isn’t answering me how I need Him to - we are not forsaken. 2 Corinthians 4:9

Darkness has a way of bringing about confusion and highlighting our fears. God is our light in the darkness. Micah 7:8

No matter what difficulty or problem you are battling or struggling with, Jesus is the Answer! John 14

Sometimes, when everything is going your way, it’s easy to rejoice. Other times, when nothing is going your way, you need to Rejoice in the Lord. Habakkuk 3

Jesus died on the cross to take away the sun of the world. Has He taken away your sin?

Unforgiveness can plague your heart and mind and keep you from enjoying the life and blessings God has prepared for you. Are there any roots of bitterness inside of you that God has Grace for you to be victorious over right now? Hebrews 12:15

Have you been set free by the Son of God? If so, you are free indeed! You are not set free to sin, you are set free from sin. Do you understand the difference? John 8:36

God tells us to take the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts from the wicked one. If you can’t identify them, how do you expect to quench them? Ephesians 6:16

Jesus healed a blind man and he responded when asked about it, “I was blind, now I see.” Do you see? Are you still blinded? John 9:25
