Jehoshaphat had a mighty army coming against him and Israel. When he heard about it, he had great fear. 2 Chronicles 20:1-3

Many of us have fears that we don’t want to talk about. We definitely don’t want what we fear to come upon us. Job said that what he feared the most had come upon him. How did he live through that? Job 3:25

God healed Naaman of leprosy. Naaman immediately focused on heart felt worship of Jehovah and no longer on his flesh. 2 Kings 5

Have you been saved from the eternal punishment for your sin? Has God done something in you and for you that absolutely no one else could? What does God want from you? God wanted Naaman’s heart. He used leprosy to get his attention and the healing of it to get his heart. 2 Kings 5

God has a simple direction for you. It may not be a “great” thing. It may not be a complex ordeal. God wants us to do the simple things and watch what He does. 2 Kings 5:11-14

All too often, when I wake up, I get a plan in my mind of how the day and my life is going to go. The problem is, God and the rest of the world didn’t sync up themselves with my plan. Now I am stuck working myself into theirs. Naaman thought he knew how Elisha would heal him. Elisha had a different, God-directed, plan. 2 Kings 5:1-13

God gave a simple step-by-step process to Naaman. God to the Jordan. Wash yourself seven times. You will be healed of your leprosy. He got mad and vented his frustration. Do you follow God’s simple directions? 2 Kings 5:9-13

When people hear your name, who or what do they identify with your name? Elisha was a man of God. That is who he was and that’s what people identified him as. Do you want to be identified as a godly man, a man of God? 2 Kings 5:8

Everyone of us will face a challenge, struggle, obstacle, or life circumstance that seems impossible. Who will you turn to? What will you do? 2 Kings 5:4-7

Believing a little child is simple. Making a life-changing decision based on the words of a child is difficult. Believing God to do the impossible takes great faith. A little maid had a big faith. Do you? 1 Kings 5:1-4

The faith of the little maid impacted the whole nation of Syria when Naaman the leper was healed. From the king down, everyone who knew of Naaman knew he was healed. Whose faith brought this about? A little maid. Who are you and your faith supposed to impact today? 2 Kings 5

Naaman went from being on top of the world to wading through his deepest valley. Leprosy was a death sentence in his day. He found himself with no where to turn and no one to turn to for help. Naaman had many wonderful qualities, characteristics, and quite a wonderful reputation. But, Naaman had leprosy. Naaman didn’t let himself stop being useful because of the “but” in his life. God used the “but Naaman had leprosy” for God’s glory and that is what he is most remembered for. 2 Kings 5:1
