Encounter the Truth
Through faithful teaching of the Scriptures, we seek to facilitate encounters with the truth of God’s Word – and ultimately, with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Truth that came down from heaven. Our prayer is that those who do not yet know Jesus will come to a saving knowledge of the truth, that believers will be grounded in the truth, and that local churches will be encouraged in their witness to the truth.

True Children of God (Part 1 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 15.02.2022 24:58
Through Christ, we are adopted as God’s true children. Because our standing is not based on Old Testament law, our access to God does not depend on being Jewish—and so, in Christ, all people who believe in him share in God’s promised salvation. Having this standing and this access, we can call God “Abba, Father.”
Prisoners Set Free (Part 2 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 14.02.2022 24:58
It may seem as though God’s Law and his promises in Christ stand opposed to one another, but Paul shows us that the law had the effect of leading us to Christ and to find justification by faith in him. Wonderfully, Christ brings us freedom from the "supervision" of the law. We live in the joy of sins forgiven and a relationship with God based on the merits of Jesus alone.

Jesus: God's Plan "A" (Part 2 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 10.02.2022 24:58
Although the coming and work of Christ might look like God’s plan “B” when salvation by works failed, actually, Paul shows us that God’s promises and plans through the Old Testament point to Christ and find fulfilment in him. Law-keeping was never the means of salvation, and we must never fall back into thinking that it could ever save.

In Christ Alone (Part 2 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 08.02.2022 24:58
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus, and him alone; law-keeping will not save. Having been saved by faith in Christ, we continue to live the Christian life by faith in Christ—with whom we were crucified, and who lives in us by his Spirit.

Authentic Messenger, Authentic Gospel (Part 2 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 04.02.2022 24:58
Paul’s personal testimony demonstrates the power of the gospel to transform lives. It also demonstrates that his gospel comes from God—and so is the true and authentic gospel that must be accepted and believed.

Only the Real Deal (Part 2 of 2) | Jesus + Nothing 02.02.2022 24:58
There will always be false teachers around—and there will always be alternative gospels on the marketplace. But a modified gospel is no gospel at all, and Paul warns us against fakes and calls us to accept only the genuine article.

Grace to the Depths (Part 4 of 4) | Grace to the Depths 31.01.2022 24:58
Our God is a God of undeserved second chances, of unexpected revival, of unmatched compassion for the lost. Are we concerned for them as God is concerned? Or is our heart more like Jonah’s than we care to admit? And if we do share something of the compassion of God, how will we respond to the need all around us?

Grace to the Depths (Part 2 of 4) | Grace to the Depths 27.01.2022 24:58
How big is the heart of God? How wide is the grace of God? How deep is the mercy of God? These are the big questions at the very heart of the book of Jonah. Even after his rebellion, Jonah’s life wasn’t over— even though he must have felt it should have been at points. And the Lord does not give up on us his people—even in our waywardness and reluctance and sin, he mercifully and sovereignly pursu...

The Kingdom Advancing (Part 2 of 2) | Kingdoms Colliding 25.01.2022 24:58
Just as Jesus called the apostles to be shrewd in their day, he calls us to be shrewd in ours—careful with our words, sensitive to our context. But at the same time, we don’t manipulate or compromise the message. By his help, we are to go out as his agents, innocent as doves, trusting his Word, trusting his power, trusting his provision, and leaving the work of judgment to him for the final...
