With a trade meeting going on, Narcellia slips out of the castle with the intention of ending the family feud between her and Nadal. Nadal, however, has other plans. While the party goes to give support, they immediately drop pretense and help Nadal with his family quarrel, putting the drow sister to rest for the final time. Our party reconvenes at the purple raven where they discuss the recent happenings. Nadal contemplates morality and Gideon joins them for a jaunt in Castle Von Drak where they come face to face with young Isabella Von Drak and Thea enjoying an afternoon tea.

The party splits with Varek, Asterion and Sam heading to the tower with Gideon's Uncle while Thea spends a romantic afternoon with Isabella Von Drak. The two open up to each other, enjoying their company as Nadal and Gideon continue their research into the secrets of the second age. 

Our party reconvenes under the granary to find another piece of carapace, however the darkness above has other plans! While Nadal's blood curse locks the new enemy down, Sam takes an opportunity to use it like a ladder and climb up to the ceiling where something seems to be calling him...

As Lord Thereon Arafall and Lady Narcellia Dryallis enter the Moon Festival dinner, Nadal begins to panic at the shock of his sister being alive. He shares their last meeting, where he ran a sword through her and left her for dead before fleeing the under dark. The dinner party begins before they can flee, will the night take a turn for the worse?
