All families have difficulties, disorder and situations that cause pain. Why? It's because we are born sinners, and we live closely in a family with other sinners. What does a forgiven/redeemed sinner (Christian) now do about these important family pains?

In John 15, Jesus invites us to abide in Him. This abiding is central to our lives as Christians, but it also involves a process of God pruning our lives. His desire for us is that we bear much fruit. Join Eric as we look at this important passage together.

What happens to a nation, culture, organization or group when the people empowered to execute justice in verdicts or in punishments abuse that power and responsibility and instead pervert justice? It's not good, that's for sure.

This morning we will look (quickly) at three proverbs that depict sorrow-producing situations. The end result of a crooked-hearted person is sorrow. The sorrow a parent feels with a foolish son or daughter is intense. The sorrow that comes from a crushed spirit can "dry up your bones". Can any of these situations be changed, altered, restored, made new or reversed?
