God is light and in him there is no darkness at all! We are called to "walk in the light." While this is a beautiful image, it isn't clear what it means. For John, walking in the light is obeying God's commands. For the times we don't do that perfectly, Jesus Christ has atoned for our sins. Obeying God's commands = loving one another. 1 John 1:5-2:11
