Religion EN ↓ 172 episodes

Welcome to the Embracing Brokenness Podcast. Our focus is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to a hurting world. To live authentically and without pretense. To encourage others toward a greater understanding of who they are and who God is. To teach the blessed HOPE that the Bible calls the “Anchor of the Soul”. That is Jesus Christ and His healing presence – not only available in this life – but in eternity to come.

The pace of life has taken its toll on all of us. Nearly without exception. BUT, God walks “slowly” because he is love. If he is not love he would have gone much faster. Love has its speed. It is an inner speed. It is a spiritual speed. It is a different kind of speed from the technological speed to which we are accustomed. It is “slow” yet it is lord over all other speeds since it is the speed of...

39. Out of Lukewarmness Into the Light 17.05.2021

The Bible talks about God's view of lukewarm believers. It's clear in Revelation what He thinks of that. We live in a divided nation. So what is progressive Christianity? It sounds like it could be a good thing. Making progress in our relationship with God perhaps. But progress is a neutral word. In today's Podcast Steve examines the truth of scr...

32. Soul Care 08.02.2021

Our enemy continues his efforts to steal not only our joy but our connection with the One who brings that joy. The times call for an all-out frontal attack against the one doing that attacking.
