By John Hull | Today, I’ll continue the interview with my cousin,  Dan Hull, who this weekend begins his 40th season of calling the play-by-play of high school football in Central Texas. As we heard from Dan in part one of this interview, the smaller high schools in Texas already have three and four games in the books, including their six-man football teams.

If you watched Thursday Night Football you saw fans, plenty of them, in Arrowhead Stadium, all socially-distanced in the NFL season opener. There were plenty of natural crowd sounds to make the football on TV experience worth watching.

Cosumnes Oaks High School is very fortunate to have a man of integrity like athletic director George Smith. He is beginning his 32nd year of teaching, his fifth at Cosumnes Oaks.
