The Israelites celebrated Jubilee every 50 years. Those who had lost property and clan were restored. Jesus has also restored us as we look forward to the ultimate Jubilee; His return. 

Jesus is on a mission to speak to the first person to whom He reveals His identity as the Messiah. However, it's not the kind of person you would expect.

How do we create a welcoming environment at our church, especially for those who are not like us? 

When you find the Messiah, the first thing you'll want to do is tell your friends!

How does God see the nation of Israel in our modern context? How should that view affect our interaction with Jewish people we know?

Are the Jewish people responsible for the death of Christ?

Why did God choose Israel as His people? What was the message he was trying to convey? How does that affect us today?

During the feast of Atonement, the Jewish people looked back on their sin from the previous year as the high priest made a sacrifice on the mercy seat. We tie this feast to the ultimate atonement Jesus secured for us by the shedding of His blood. 

We continue our series on the feasts of the Old Testament by looking at the Feast of Trumpets and how Jesus fulfilled it. 

When we look at the feasts that God commanded His people to celebrate, we see their fulfillment in Jesus. 

Many religions claim to provide a way to God. However, the Bible clearly states that there is only one way to achieve holiness before the Lord.

God commanded that the priests in the Old Testament were to sacrifice for the sins of the people. However, Jesus became the permanent High Priest as a sacrifice for our sins. 

When we look at the 10 Commandments, we can approach them from a perspective of contentment or greed. Which will you choose?

It is impossible for us to withstand the glory of God in our present state. Thankfully we have a way to be shielded from the glory and wrath of God. 

Moses needed help in lifting up the staff of the Lord in order to win the battle. So too, modern church leaders need help in lifting up the Lord. 

God provided manna in the wilderness for the people of Israel. He will also provide for your daily needs. 

God showed His wonders to the Israelites as well as the Egyptians. The miraculous was not only for His people long ago. He still continues to do miracles today!

After God saved the people of Israel from the angel of death, He commanded them to consecrate their firstborn. How does this principle apply to us today? 

Pharaoh wanted to keep the Israelites working in the brick pit and prevented them from worshipping God. Satan tries to do the same thing to the modern Christian.

Jacob buried Israel's idols before they went up to Bethel. So too, we are called to "bury" our idols. 

There is a war on women currently raging, but the real enemy might surprise you!

Jacob had been away for more than two decades. God gave him wisdom in how to approach his brother Esau, and some of those principles apply to our relationship today. 

After the resurrection, Christ ascended to glory and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. We too have been raised with Christ and seated with him. What is the significance of that in our daily lives? 

Down through the ages, politicians have made many promises, most of which they have not kept. As our king, Jesus can fulfill all the promises He has made. 

It's shocking, but it seems like the Bible indicates that Jesus has favorites. How do we position ourselves to be one of His favored ones in regards to healing?
