Based on Acts 28, the sermon reminds us of the importance of trusting God even in the midst of trials and moving forward in fulfilling what God has asked us to do. It tells us to rest in God's promises, resolve to be useful despite the circumstances and to remain faithful to our calling.

On the day of Pentecost, the first disciples were filled with God's Holy Spirit, and it is the power of the Holy Spirit that enabled them to preach the gospel to all even in the midst of persecutions and hardships. It is the same power that is available to us today to fulfill the purpose of the church, in reaching out to today's generation and world with the good news of the gospel.

Based on Acts 10, the sermon focuses on the story of Peter & Cornelius and reminds us not to call anything impure that God has made clean. Are there people in our lives that we consider unworthy of God's love and forgiveness? God shows no favoritism and His love and salvation is for all. 

Based on the response of the first century church to persecution in their times, this message reminds us in our current culture to have the boldness to communicate the truth of the gospel and to say it beautifully, not belligerently.
