In this message we will look at the second half of Jude 1:1. We will learn something about our identity. We are not what other people say we are. We are not what the devil says we are. We are who God says we are. God says we are called, blessed and kept!

In this message we will look at Jude 1:1. We will learn that Jude did not start out well in his relationship with Jesus. However, he certainly did finish well. This gives us hope! We don’t always start our walk with the Lord well; but it’s not how you start; it’s how you finish!

Compassion boils down to a very simple question: are we loving people like Jesus did? Like Jesus does? Are we including everyone at his table? Or are we still trying to pick and choose who is worthy of compassion, and of his love? Join us as we wrap up our series today with a message from Will.

We've heard the story of Jesus feeding the 4000 time and time again, but why did he do it? Just to show off? Or was it a deeper sign of love and compassion he was displaying for all people?

Zacchaeus - an often over-looked player in the New Testament (that is, unless, you're a kid in vacation Bible school who learned the song), but one that can teach us a lot about the compassion of Christ. Those who are scored, pushed aside... even the worst of us... are drawn to Christ and can become one of his.

In the story of "The Woman Caught in Adultery," the title alone implies the villain of the story was the sinful woman... but not so with Jesus. With Jesus, those who will receive the most judgement from God are those who judge others most harshly. The compassion of Jesus often looks like turning a blind eye to sin for the super religious, but his arms are open wide... no matter what we've done.

In Biblical times, folks with leprosy were often ostracized and marginalized, forced to life an isolated life all alone. But Jesus reached out to such people, and calls us to do the same. Maybe you don't know anybody with leprosy, but you know someone who needs that same kind of compassion
