12 | JESUS Noticed Needs 06.01.2014

Luke 4:40 Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. Jesus noticed US, that is why we notice others, for the glory of God. We get to speak of His great salvation that has touched souls physically and spiritually.

11 | JESUS, The Healer 30.12.2013

God does for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

10 | JESUS Is Our Redeemer 23.12.2013

Titus 3:3-7 "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal...

09 | JESUS Is Our Savior & King 16.12.2013

Matthew asks you: Who is your king? Herod or Jesus Luke asks: Who is your savior Caesar or Jesus Luke 2:34-35 Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”

08 | JESUS Was Humble 08.12.2013

Philippians 2:5-8 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

07 | JESUS: Compassion And Truth 02.12.2013

Matthew 18:3-4 Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

06 | JESUS Lived In Community 24.11.2013

The Gospel: We were all separated from relationship with God because of our own actions, but by the grace of Jesus, He has found us, cleaned us up, and adopted us into His family. We now live our lives for the Glory of Christ, boldly sharing this Good News: that Jesus Has Saved and Redeemed us.

05 | JESUS Gave People Dignity 18.11.2013

Why did God love His people? Deuteronomy 7:7-8 It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you...

04 | JESUS Is Funny 11.11.2013

We serve and love a God who has a great sense of humor. Through-out scripture we see God joking around, having fun, and drawing people into repentance through humor. In the history of men no one was as funny as Jesus. Jesus used humor at parties, with His disciples, but His best humor was used in His teaching. He would use humor and sarcasm to call people into repentance. He would joke around with...

03 | JESUS Wasn't Safe 03.11.2013

Jesus did not say, “I have come that you may have safety and have it abundantly.” He came to give us a big, bold, messy life where we see God’s power unleashed and walk in His authority and live in His victory and shine with His joy.

02 | JESUS: Servant, Leader 28.10.2013

World history is speckled with the lives of leaders, kings, conquerors and iconoclasts who shaped their culture, region and even generations. There has been no leader in history who has made such a lasting and far-reaching impact on humanity as our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ served first, obeyed God, sacrificed for his followers, developed leadership in others, and led with unquestionable divine au...

Element U: GOD CLASHES with Athens 24.10.2013

What is the chief end of man? Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever. -Westminster Shorter Catechism We need to be always preaching the gospel to ourselves.  We should spend our entire lives learning the gospel.

01 | Jesus Changed the World 21.10.2013

Jerislav Pelikan wrote “Regardless of what anyone may personally think or believe about Him, Jesus of Nazareth has been the dominant figure in the history of western culture for almost 20 centuries. If it were possible, with some sort of super-magnet, to pull up out of that history every scrap of metal bearing at least a trace of His name, how much would be left?”

Element U: HOW CHRISTIANITY IS DYING: and why it is a good thing. 17.10.2013

Evangelicalism is trying to fight a war on many fronts about pluralism, sexuality, error and compromise. We want you to have a coherence to be able to filter everything, so you can understand our culture better. Christendom is less about being saved for eternal life and the kingdom of God, and more about living a moral life to build a good society and a great nation. Matthew 7:22-23 On that day ma...

XIII. Dead People Go To A Better Place. 14.10.2013

What does the Bible mean when it speaks of God remembering our sins no more? It simply means that He no longer responds to us in light of those sins. They no longer derail our relationship with him. They no longer garner his wrath. They are gone—completely—-from our account.

Element U: TRUTH: Whatever is true for you isn’t true for you! 10.10.2013

A look at Pre-Modern, Modern & Post-Modern Eras.

XII. I'm A Good Person. 07.10.2013

We are not as good as we think we are…and when we believe the myth that we ARE “good people” it ruins the life Christ has for us to live. We must daily die to ourselves and our self gratification and justification and realize that even though we are worse than we believe, God is still better than we can imagine.

Element U: ONE OR TWO: Christians Are the Greatest Threat to World Unity 03.10.2013

Paul wants Timothy to teach his people the difference between the doctrine of demons and the good doctrine of Jesus Christ. Apparently people in that time (like today) were confused about what the gospel really is. The cultural attitude of America is changing. Just a few decades ago in America you could walk around and tell the essential Jesus story and most people would understand what you were s...

XI. God Brings Good Luck. 30.09.2013

From an earthly perspective, things may seem to happen at random, but throughout the whole of Scripture, it is clear that God is in control of all of His creation and even the “random acts” of natural law. He is able to take the free will of both good and evil men, and the wicked intent of demons, and combine them all to accomplish His good and perfect will.

VIII. Christians Shouldn't Judge. 09.09.2013

How do we judge? We Evaluate & Protect or Discern & Restore. If we refuse to judge, we miss out on truth. If we judge inappropriately, we pile extra judgment upon ourselves. Our ultimate purpose is never to condemn, that’s God’s prerogative. Our role is to evaluate and protect or to discern and restore.

VII. Hard Times Mean We Are Not In God’s Will. 01.09.2013

While trials can be a great source of pain in our life, we should take heart because through trials and hardship, God shows His love in never leaving us. Through our hardship God continues to love and show His grace, and mercy. We need to be a people who aren’t blind to His goodness, but rejoice in Christ always.

VI. Godly Parents Produce Godly Kids. 26.08.2013

Children are a great gift and great responsibility from God. We are called to be stewards of what God has given us. We are to raise our children to know about God and to understand His ways. But we have to remember that Proverbs isn’t a book of promises, and Pr. 22:6 does not mean Godly homes parents produce Godly kids.

Film & Theology - Oblivion 24.08.2013

The Cinema. Today's modern day pulpit... telling today's story through the digital story form. We'll watch these popular movies and follow up with an expository exploration of the narrative themes and spiritual parallels of these movies.

V. Faith Can Fix Anything. 19.08.2013

Whether we have enough faith (maybe just a mustard seed’s worth) to follow God’s instructions or all the faith in the world, our God is big enough to bring us home.

IV. Forgiving Means Forgetting. 12.08.2013

What does the Bible mean when it speaks of God remembering our sins no more? It simply means that He no longer responds to us in light of those sins. They no longer derail our relationship with him. They no longer garner His wrath. They are gone—completely—from our account.
