A new year, a new podcast episode. Brian and Evan ring in the new year like all podcasts seemingly do, by going over the best (and worst at times) of 2019. Then, they decide to chat about Brians personal favorite kind of instant spells: Charms! Which ones could you use? Which ones could you avoid?   Also, Brian breaks out some scotch and it slides downhill in a hurry.   Enjoy!!

Brian and Evan explore the 3 color commander combos alphabetically, because of their distinct lack of planning. Also, this episode features the MOST ALCOHOL EVAN HAS EVER CONSUMED ON THE SHOW TO DATE.

Evan and Brian talk about building a meme deck, what they think a meme deck is, and why they do it. Then, they follow up with a look at a listeners azorius deck list, and then finish it off with a  particularly vicious Fuck/Marry/Kill.

Brian and Evan continue their series or the Colors of Commander by talking about the enemy dual colored combinations, and where their favorites and least favorites lay.  And, because Brian is so bad at homework, they present their Skeleton Ship decks at the end of the episode that they were supposed to do last time.

This week, Evan and Brian ramble on (and on) about the mono colored decks and what their weaknesses and strengths are. They also complete their homework Ryan assigned them. Evan and Brian have Ryan, a local player join them to discuss and compare notes on Throne of Eldraine, the latest set of cards to be spoiled. Then, after a few random commanders, Ryan assigns homework and screws over Brians dreams of making a deck he likes.

This week Brian and Evan discuss building a play group and how to host EDH tournaments. Then we get some random mono generals and discuss the decks we challenged each other to build, Karona, False God and Soraya, the Falconer (errata: Birdoner).

Sorry about the delay, the storm threw it all off. We are back now though!   In our 15th episode, Brian has a difficult time articulating his problem with degenerate combos vs. a finely tuned deck, and Evan has to help out and guide his words. They do some other stuff too, then polish off the episode with a bit of homework for each other. Enjoy!

In our arbitrary 10th episode, we invite Alyssa, a local EDH player on to answer some questions about what it's like being a woman in the MTG, and specifically Commander scene. Brian and her have a few differences of opinion on things, but they end the episode as friends. Pretty much. She joins us for random commander and even assigns our homework, giving us each the same general to build it wrong...

Brian discusses his vacation and journey to another province, and the differences between the two areas with Commander and the attitudes about infinite vs noninfinite. Some random commanders are discussed afterwards. They also discuss the commanders they were assigned the week before, and how they'd build them.
