Noticing others, stepping in to care, can have a lasting impact on their lives. Today we read from Exodus 17 a moment when Moses was struggling, and two others stepped in to offer support. This Sunday we get to the first recorded worship song in Scripture—Exodus 15, as God's people celebrated Yahweh for providing an escape through the Red Sea. They stood between a sea and an army—certain death and certain death. Yet the Israelites were asked to trust in the LORD.
