Our @EchoChamberFP 'BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival' recap, we catch-up with Jessica Benhamou, who wrote and directed 'Love Is A Hand Grenade'. A short that really captures a tricky moment in a friendship and had a lot of positive feedback at the recent 'BFI Flare Festival'.

26 films played over the twelve days, as part of the 'Minds' (Reflections on art, politics and community), 'Bodies' (Stories of sex, identity and transformation) and 'Hearts' (Films about love, romance and friendship) streams.

Both films are debuts from the directors and the work will really give the heart palpitations. One deals with holiday love and the other shows us that even in tragedy love can be found.
