Just when you think things couldn't get any worse, they do. Mavis just can't seem to catch a break. Has she finally had enough?

Mavis continues to be the responsible one while her parents continue their binge drinking. When will she have a life of her own?  blast from the past may help her answer that question.

Mavis' parents seem to have lost all sense of responsibility. They would rather see who is the bigger drinker than care for their children. Their neighbor Mhirimo is no better. Will he pay the ultimate prize?

What is life like after the farm? Mavis is experiencing a new reality. How will she navigate this new life? 

You can only get away with things for so long. Everyone has a breaking point. The foreman soon learns this lesson. What is ahead for this family?

The work on the farm continues. The teacher's role has been adjusted somewhat and he has additional responsibilities. On the other hand the foreman is dropping the ball more and more. 

We meet a cast characters on a tobacco farm. They include a foreman of dubious character and his lazy wife, a teacher who seems to have his priorities right and maybe questionable judgement and a woman who will stand her ground.

We meet Tichaona and Tambudzai, a seemingly happy couple despite their different personalities. They have two healthy kids and beautiful home in Bluff Hill. Tambudzai has fired yet another maid and her husband has given her an ultimatum.
