In 1 John 5, we hear that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Today we remember that faith is not something we manufacture—it’s a gift God gives, sustaining us with the victory of Christ.

1 John 4 reminds us that love doesn’t start with us—it starts with God. Today we rest in the truth that we love because He first loved us, and His perfect love casts out fear.

In 1 John 3, we’re invited to remember the deepest truth about who we are: children of God. Today we rest in the love the Father has lavished on us in Christ—a love that shapes our identity, our hope, and our daily life.

In 1 Peter 3, believers are called to live with a quiet, steady strength that flows not from personal willpower but from Christ Himself. Today we remember that gentleness, hope, and blessing are fruits of a heart anchored in Jesus.

On Thanksgiving Day, 1 Peter 2 reminds us that gratitude isn’t rooted in circumstances, but in identity. In Christ, we are God’s chosen people, called out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Today we remember who we are — and the One to whom our thanks is ultimately given.

In 1 Peter 1, we’re reminded that our hope isn’t fragile or fading—it’s alive, anchored in the resurrection of Jesus. Today we remember that even in trials, God guards us, refines us, and holds us in a hope that nothing can take away.

James 5 calls us to pray in every circumstance—suffering, joy, sickness, and sin. Today we’re reminded that God doesn’t ask us to carry our burdens alone. He meets us with healing, forgiveness, and a community shaped by His mercy.

James 4 reminds us that the noise and conflict in our lives often come from restless hearts. But the Lord invites us to draw near—not by proving ourselves, but by receiving His grace that always meets us first.

Today marks our 100th episode of Dwelling Place! As we celebrate this small milestone, James 3 reminds us why we keep coming back to God’s Word: because Jesus meets us in the everyday places where our words fail and His grace restores. In a world full of hurtful speech, Christ gives us new hearts—and from those new hearts flow words that heal.

James 2 challenges us to live out our faith in real and tangible ways—not to earn salvation, but because Christ has already given it. Today we remember that genuine faith naturally bears the fruit of love.

James 1 reminds us that trials aren’t signs of God’s absence—they’re places where His faithfulness meets our weakness. Today we hear the promise that in Christ, we lack nothing we truly need.

Hebrews 13 shows us that the Christian life isn’t just lived in the big moments—it’s lived in the everyday choices of love, hospitality, contentment, and trust. Today we remember that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Hebrews 12 reminds us that the Christian life isn’t a sprint—it’s a long race. But we don’t run alone. Christ has already gone before us, and a great cloud of witnesses surrounds us with encouragement.

On Veterans Day, we give thanks for those who have served and sacrificed for peace. In Hebrews 7, we remember that Christ, our eternal High Priest, still intercedes for His Church Militant and has already secured victory for His Church Triumphant.

When faith feels shaky, Hebrews 6 reminds us that our hope isn’t tied to how tightly we hold on to God—it’s anchored in how faithfully He holds on to us.

In Hebrews 3, we’re warned not to harden our hearts — not because God is harsh, but because His Word is alive. Today we hear the gentle reminder to keep listening to the voice of Jesus, who is faithful even when we wander.
