During Bible Study

Send us Fan Mail During this lesson we look at how a woman changed a war. How she used a tent peg or a nail to kill the enemy army commander. We are not promoting killing anyone. But if satan or his demons want to come into your house then fight them with all the power of GOD. You are encouraged to drive evil spirits and the enemy out of your house. I tell you now if someone was to break into my h...

Send us Fan Mail Believe me when I say we all will have trials while on the earth. But all trials are not for every person. We all have different trials and things that we have to go thru. Like Abraham didn't have to fight the lions and bears like the shepherd boy David. But each trial is needed for our walk. To build our faith in GOD and help us know that GOD will deliever. Send us Fan Mail With Easter close we hear many stories of the things Jesus did. We should really look at all of it and know that each step he took was important. After the last supper we find Jesus walking to the garden to pray. He goes out of the city and heads to Mount Olive. He takes a path outside the city that crosses over the Kidron brook. This place has so many important things happen over...

Send us Fan Mail This message is a reminder that we will go thru things as Christians. When the world binds you and puts things against you, know that when you put your faith in Jesus. When you trust Jesus to be with you then all will be OK. Jesus will be with you from the start to the end of your trials. All we have to do it believe in him. Let the world see and proclaim that Jesus took you thru...

Send us Fan Mail I believe that we get in the fix it mode. We see things that we think we can fix or something that needs changed and we jump in head first. From experience it is the hardest thing to do is wait. Wait and see what will happen if someone can fix the issue themselves. Wait and see if things make a turn on their own. Or just let GOD work his own way on things. Being in a hurry is a hu...

Send us Fan Mail This message finds us looking into gifts that GOD blessed people with. And each gift is different and each one is needed to help the others work better. Even today we are gifted skills and abilities by GOD to advance the church. Going back thru history from start of time we find people using different skills or gifts for the glory of GOD. After the day of Pentecost we were giving...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we are reminded how strong wind can be.  How the mighty wind from the throne of GOD can bring change. With times of great evil on the world don't you think that we need a change? We have that same wind or power from on high in us as the form of the Holy Spirit. With GOD inside us then we can do the impossible. Wind is powerful and can bring change. Buzzsprout...

Send us Fan Mail Around Easter we hear and teach on events that Jesus did leading up to the crucificion.  In this lesson we look at the reason that Jesus gave his life up, freely. He loved us so much that giving himself up for our sins. Jesus knew that without him dying for us we would never be able to go to Heaven. Sin had placed a separation of us from GOD. But Jesus had us all on his heart and...

Send us Fan Mail We love how GOD uses things we are around to teach us. While cleaning out a shed I noticed an old rusty and worn out tool box. The tool box has seen better days. The outside was dented and scratched, latch broken and paint all but gone. But as I looked inside I found nice shiny new tools. Useful tools and mostly new. GOD told me that its not what is on the outside that counts but...

Send us Fan Mail We look at the children of Israel walking in the wilderness. But we also look at our own walk thru difficult times. We find that thru each hard time that when we focus on Jesus we will make it thru. A wilderness can be a place of spiritual growth or it can be a place to show you that you need GOD. Send us Fan Mail We often separate this group of miracles. The leader of the local temple, Jairus, humbles himself down and kneels in front of Jesus and asks for Jesus to come heal his daughter. Jesus agrees to go and heal her. As they were going thru a great crowd the woman with 12 years blood issue, is not going to let anything or anyone stop her from reaching Jesus. Jesus stops and blesses her...

Send us Fan Mail Many times we think about Salvation and Grace together. But they both do go together. Yet they each offer separate joys. Lets talk about them and rejoice together that Jesus gives these to us, freely. Beyond The Beacon Join Bishop Kevin Sweeney for inspired interviews with Catholics living out our faith! Send us Fan Mail During this lesson we talk about how Jesus left the 99 sheep to find and bring back the lost sheep. The shepherd left his other sheep that needed him for protection and guidance to go find the one that wasn't there. He needed to have all of his in one place. Under his watch and care. Today GOD wants us to be as close to Jesus as we can be. Buzzsprout - Let's get your podc...

Send us Fan Mail During this lesson we look at Ezekiel chapter 37. GOD gives a vision to this prophet about a valley of Dry Bones were in front of him. GOD tells him to speak the word, speak JESUS to them. When Ezekiel speaks to those dry bones the breath of GOD enters into them and restores them to being alive. Praise GOD that he can restore things that were dead. GOD breathed into the lifeless f...

Send us Fan Mail During this message I talk about how things come up all of a sudden. Like rain when you are putting shingles on a roof. How you can just quit when you are almost done or you can push thru and finish what you start. In our Christian life things come up or at us all of a sudden. We shouldn't just quit and give up when we are so close to being finished. Our reward in the end wil...

Send us Fan Mail During this message we will talk about being together in the Lord. We all want someone to work along side of us. No one wants to face troubles and trials alone. GOD puts people in our lives so that we will not be alone. Gideon had a great army but GOD made him send all but 300 home. GOD used that small number to defeat a larger and meaner army. GOD showed that it was him that gave...

Send us Fan Mail With this message I wanted to address an issue that some have about Praying. Some are not sure how to pray. Others feel like they are not doing it right or sending it to the right person. With any relationship it takes working on it all the time. We know that Jesus was always talking with his Heavenly Father in Prayer. So we need to follow Jesus example and pray all the time. Keep...

Send us Fan Mail I wanted to tell you that you are special to GOD. The big religious groups want to keep you afraid and worried about sin. But GOD sent Jesus to cover every sin. Your past, present and future sins. They are covered and thrown in the sea of forgetfulness. GOD loved us so much that he sent his only son to die for us. To give us the chance to accept Jesus as our lord and master, the r...

Send us Fan Mail We continue to talk about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how it is perfect in the function of the church. Each person has a special calling that only they can do. Things that GOD can use to touch that one person. We need to be mindful of our gifts and use them every chance we get. The church is a diverse mix of people. We should be happy when someone else gets blessed and happy...

Send us Fan Mail Funny how some things just hit you, in this lesson we are reminded to not overlook the verses in the bible. Some verses are powerful and others lead into what comes next. The point is that each verse in the bible is there for a reason. GOD wants us to put everyword in our heart so that when something happens, it always will, we will be prepared for it. Todays verse tells us that G...

Send us Fan Mail Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first. I love how great GOD is. He loves us so much and wants to help us. Even when we fall away or leave him, he tells us how to fix it. How to come back to the place that we left him and return to a relationship with him. So simple and easy y...

Send us Fan Mail In this message we look at the gifts that are given by the Holy Spirit. Each one is given not that man can be praised but that it will help the church show that GOD is real and for it to bring GOD glory. You will see that not everyone will get a gift. A gift is something that is given and received. When the Holy Spirit is told to give you a gift then it is from GOD. We talk about...

Send us Fan Mail During this lesson we let our minds think of those that was at the feet of Jesus. At the cross and watching as Jesus went thru the crucification. Those that walked and talked, seeing miracle after miracle, wasn't there. Those that Jesus warned way before this event happened that it had to happen. They ran away in fear of having the same fate. Keep in mind when listening to th...
