Jessica discovers a miniature paradise in the middle of the Arrakeen Residency, but it contains a message that sends the Atreides into high alert. An Arrakeen native is discovered in a cairn after a month, and lights flash in the distance. Join your hosts as they decipher the meaning of all these clues and piece these puzzles together!

Paul checks out his new room, but not everything is as perfect as he imagines! He shows off some of his strength by fighting a slippery (and small!) hunter-seeker, and by mere chance earns himself a water burden from the Shadout Mapes. We finally get to see the famous Leto Atreides, and he acts like a surprisingly good father figure! We discuss the Sardaukar, the Mentats, and the impending journey to Arrakis, where Paul may meet that "terrible purpose" he keeps going on about. Our favorite betrayer - Dr. Yueh! Described as a minecraft block man with a education from the school of Suck sorry typo Suk, he has many more layers than we think... Join your hosts as they peel apart the onion that is Yueh.

We meet a medley of new characters, including Thufir Hawat the Mentat and Gurney Halleck the weapons master! Paul has a close call with death and betrayal, or was it staged all along? Paul wants to save his dad but this old grandma keeps getting in the way of his dreams (pretty prophetic by the way)! A lot of nice character development that we see in this chapter too. Join your hosts as they enter the Meditation Chamber and break down the chapter!
