Duke Reacts!

Reacting to Thin Lizzy singer Phil Lynott's solo music video for "Old Town" (1982). Underrated singer and band. This is also on the mental health tip, as Phil was being vulnerable and reaching out for help with these lyrics which I admire. This reaction is dedicated to my friend named Phil who passed last year,

Big Daddy Kane for the WIN! React to Busta Rhymes - Slap (ft. Conway the Machine of Griselda and Big Daddy Kane). Awesome old-school lyricism all around, they all brought it. Busta's verses always catch me off guard, enjoy

Absolute BANGER from Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention's Over-Nite Sensation (1973). This dude got it in, killer hook and guitar solo.

The lead singer of this Canadian band from the 90s bears a striking resemblance to the Doors' Jim Morrison in his looks, swagger, and aggressive lyrics. Let me know in the comments if you see it too, this a gem we unearthed for y'all here today on Duke Reacts! Happy New Year

This would be my favorite version of the artist known as Drizzy Drake. Middle of the Ocean was my favorite track from Drake and 21 Savage's new collaborative album "Her Loss".  (Editor's Note: I filmed this episode In the middle of dental surgery, please be understanding and mindful in the comments. We still got it in for y'all.)

You See Me is my favorite off Donald Glover's 2011 masterpiece Camp. It's debatable how well some of these lyrics have aged, but either way the kid got BARS. Enjoy the reaction and shout to Bino, check out the final season of Atlanta on FX.

Reacting to the official video of Thin Lizzy's "Waiting for An Alibi" off Black Rose: A Rock Legend (1979).  Thin Lizzy lineup as of 1979: Phil Lynott, bass & lead vocals  Scott Gorham & Gary Moore, guitars and backing vocals Brian Downey, drums. Enjoy!

One of Zappa's more interesting compositions, i guess this was supposed to be his "punk rock" record but he takes it a few other places. Enjoy.

Got the OGS up in this bitch, old school West Coast dudes showing y'all how it's DONE. Real hip-hop, enjoy! Who brought it, who had the hottest verse? Let us know in the comments.

According to my dad there was no one that banged the club harder and got the party started in the early 70s quite like Grand Funk Railroad. Enjoy.

This is my favorite Duke Reacts episode to date and the hardest I have ever laughed while doing this show. The third verse of this caught me off guard, as I'm sure it did for you as well. Weird Al trolled everyone with that list.

You wanted more SP, you got 'em. Reacting to Tarantula off the Pumpkins' 2007 comeback record Zeitgeist. Underrated gem from this era.

Manchester England, England from the 1979 movie HAIR directed by Milos Forman, set in the 60s. Starring Treat Williams and John Savage, seen here singing (and RAPPING) a song about Manchester, England. Shout to any Mancunians watching, this is for y'all.

Reaction to the late DJ Kay Slay's "60 Second Assassin" music video featuring Busta Rhymes, Layzie Bone, Twista, and Jaz-O. This is hip-hop at its very best, RIP Kay Slay, enjoy.

This was one of the first known music videos, for 10cc's 1976 disco-fied banger "Good Morning Judge" about a day in court with a twist ending and fire guitar solos. Enjoy
