ORB 2: Dia De Los Dangerous! 03.11.2020 42:44
The Venture Bros would take some time to blossom into the miracle it becomes, but even this episode, directly after the pilot, is a monumental leap forward. Special thanks to Joshua Jarett for our cover art, Gwen May for our theme song, and Brayton Cameron for being our announcer.
Abject Suffering 374: Arctic alive 02.11.2020 27:42
This survival horror/survival sim set in an arctic base is notable for one reason: It was made entirely in Blender, which is not a game engine. It would be like somehow making a JRPG run in MS Paint. Other than that, it's got a baffling "barely translated" charm... so instead, we talk about how Gary recently developed hypothermia in his house.
Everything to Guppy 569: ???'s Soul 01.11.2020 14:53
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
Days of Future Cast 180: One of Them is Named Ketchup (X-Force 120) 31.10.2020 33:47
X-Force 120 Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there! You can f...

[PREVIEW] Halloween Reading: "The Tower" by Marghanita Laski 30.10.2020 5:00
This year's Halloween is the short but chilling horror story "The Tower" by Marghanita Laski, first published in 1955. A woman named Caroline is fascinated by a ruined tower near Florence, after having learned of its unfortunate inhabitants and their mysterious demise. So she goes to visit, and this story documents every agonizing step of a trip she never should have taken. Thanks so much for your...
The Level 348: When God Nukes a Door 30.10.2020 2:11:31
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and David talk about Nowhere Prophet, Phasmophobia, and we talk about long-lasting scary game moments. Note: There are points where some hosts audio will get kind of low-pitched. We're aware of the problem and trying to solve it. Sorry! The Grind: David: Fallout ’76. World of Horror. Phasmophobia. Kole: Phasmophobia. Squirrel Stapler. Ben: Phasmophobia. Hades. Dennis: Phasmophob...

Everything to Guppy 567: Kidney Bean 29.10.2020 12:47
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
[PREVIEW] Unfilmable 20: The Call of Cthulhu 28.10.2020 5:00
This is it, the last in our series covering Lovecraft screen adaptations. The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society undertook the impossible task of bringing Lovecraft's most famous story to the screen, and they managed to succeed even with one hand tied behind their back. This silent film is riveting to watch, which is a real accomplishment all on its own.
ORB 1: The Terrible Secret of Turtle Bay 27.10.2020 1:03:13
Welcome to our coverage of the worst episode of the Venture Bros.! Dr. Venture has been invited to demonstrate his newest invention at the U-nited Nations, and he's brought the boys along to get a taste of big city living. Meanwhile, the Monarch watches and schemes. Special thanks to Joshua Jarett for our cover art, Gwen May for our theme song, and Brayton Cameron for being our announcer.

Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
Abject Suffering 373: Whiteboyz Wit' Attitude: The Pursuit of Money 26.10.2020 40:46
We need to re-calibrate what constitutes an "Abject Suffering Emergency". It's hard to tell how earnest the Whiteboyz Wit' Attitude are. On one hand, the music is pretty bad and farcical, but on the other hand, they've been at it for many years. This Steam game is a gussied up sales pitch for their compilation album, featuring some limited rhythm gameplay set to their low production value videos.
[PREVIEW] Bonfireside Chat 167: Bloodborne Cut Content 26.10.2020 5:00
This week we talk about the things that didn't make it into Bloodborne, alongside some stuff that DID make it in... but is very well hidden. Even though Bloodborne is its own thing, it didn't manage to escape the classic FromSoft reshuffling, which massively changed its story and the roles of particular characters. Thanks to the work of a number of content creators, we have some insight into what...

[PREVIEW] Exquisite Suffering 103: Garfield: Caught in the Act 21.10.2020 5:00
The middle part of the 16-bit era brought us a lot of platformers that were pretty to look at, at the expense of fluidity of play. Garfield: Caught in the Act was a part of this wave, featuring very pretty sprites with fluid animation that really got in the way of moving that big ol' cat around. But that's not what we're here to talk about. We're here to talk about all of the biggest Garfield news...

Everything to Guppy 562: Succubus 20.10.2020 14:54
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Abject Suffering 372: Rockstar! 19.10.2020 41:36
This is our second rock band management sim this year, and it's by far the superior to "Rock Star Ate My Hamster". The drug fixation aside, this is a fun little Lemonade Stand sim that has a fair bit of complexity and some of the best procedurally generated names we've seen. Special Thanks to Beyond Reason for the theme song remix.
