Notice it says,  “Give us this day our daily bread.” Jesus did not say, “Give us this day a Mercedes Benz,” he’s teaching us to pray about sustenance, not lavishness, in other words, if all God hears from us is, “Give me this home, possession, car, job, wardrobe, power, influence” then we have missed the point of prayer.
