The amazing run-up in Game Stop stock lately has generated major news - what can we learn in terms of sports card insights?  Can bubbles be long-term permanent?

Sports writer Pete Williams is not the only knowledgable fan who holds Dale Murphy as their favorite player (and wants him in the Baseball Hall of Fame ASAP).

Terry and I discuss his favorite player's cards, career, and excellent HOF chances.

Hank Aaron has passed away from a massive stroke at the age of 86 - he was the premier power hitter of his generation and still holds the all-time record for career RBI's and by all accounts a humble, gracious man. 

The influence of a national daily newspaper with a ground-breaking approach to sports reporting was fundamental to the growth of the industry in my opinion - Pete was on the sports writing side and had a unique perspective. 

Jeremy Lee, my co-host last Saturday on Hobby Hotline, and I got into an in-depth substantive discussion of the two Gretzky 10 RC's, which went for world record prices at Heritage's recent big auction.

Ben collects pre-rookie post cards and enjoys the quest for knowledge about these tougher cards and the photographers who produced them. 

Barry and I talk about his key role in the development and operation of COMC Canada including their virtual show presence.

This particular Hobby Hotline show was an hour and an half long - lots of good discussion and questions from live listeners - recommend listening to the whole show (as I do, although I enjoy being a co-host only once a month) every Saturday morning on YouTube.

Tommy LaSorda has passed away from a fatal heart attack at the age of 93, the oldest living Baseball Hall of Famer.  Tommy was colorful and a huge personality, a true ambassador for the game of baseball.
