Is life always this hard, or is it just when you're a kid? Great question that Matt, Tak, & Michel never seem to answer. We sit down and talk about one of the best assassin movies ever and also one of the most disturbing adult child relationships ever seen. So if your like us and Stansfield get ready for the calm little moments before the storm. and maybe play some Beethoven in the background.

First we brought you newly released movies, then we brought you blasts from your past, now we're bringing you the TV shows worth checking out. Sit back and listen as Takaru, Matt, and Dan talk about the hit Netflix original series Daredevil....which should probably be called Batman (you know because he uses sonar). Either way the guys are hyped to talk about it.

Steve Rogers: "You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed... walk it off." This week we watch the summer blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron. Listen as Clarence, Matt, and for a few minutes Michel geek out over this movie and the Marvel universe in general. Oh, and Dan was there too... though no geeking was to be had from him. MCU!!!!!!

Greetings and salutations! In this TBT episode, the cinephiles gather 'round to discuss -- and pretty much unanimously praise -- Heathers and its darkly comedic and cynical portrayal of 1980's high school life. Clarence makes his triumphant return (finally) and the 'philes take a moment to reflect on other 80's teen films. We hope you enjoy your BQ corn nuts.

This Week we have a special guest Beto from ZFG Games do the intro....without a mic. While Tak, Michael F, Matt, and Michel take about everyones favourite space movie. The guys have a fun time with this one as they try to figure out why a movie this bad is just so damn good.

This week Takaru, Michael F, and Michel watched Annie Hall. A no brainer go to movie that Michel has a hard time finishing and Michael F and Takaru love to think deeper about. No Dan to take it to the submarine needed level, but we still get the good stuff.

Dominic Toretto: "The thing about street fights... the street always wins." Dan, Michel, and Michael sit down to discuss the latest car crazed action movie Furious 7. While Dan and Michael seem to be furious with having seen it Michel decides to look at it the way it should be, like a super hero movie.

This week we watch the cult classic Election, which was clearly a cult we all wanted to join. Listen as Dan and Matt geek out over the director and his other movies while Tak and Michel listen quietly having no idea what they're talking about.

Nick: "You look like Gandalf the Poor." What can I say other than I wish we went back in time and were watching the first one....oh well it was fun none the less. Also everyone called in the week and trust me you'll hear the difference.

Sometimes, it's best to just do what you know best. In Bruce Lee's case that's fighting...to bad he tries his hand at writing, directing, and comedy in this movie. Listen as Dan can't let one of the greats get a free pass, Tak tries to stay neutral due to his love of fighting, and Michel gets taking back to his childhood.

Harry Hart: [Quoting Ernest Hemingway] "There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self." No Clarence again this episode but we do have returning guest Michael F. stopping by to give his thoughts. Michel has been waiting for this movie for months and it shows, while Dan seems to be tired. Either way you get some insight into our mind...

V-day has come and gone, but we didn't miss a chance to watch one of the most talked about romantic comedies ever. Listen as Michel, Tak, & Dan try to understand why this is a classic that so many people love.

"I'm not gonna go and play God with you guys." - Adam Le Dan, Takeru, and Michel try to find the light at the end of the time jump. Sadly all they find is a movie that may have been better left in time. Oddly Dan has no research, Takeru does the intro for the first time, and Michel looks too deeply into the void. Luckily for you, as usual the guys we're Down to Watch so you didn't have to.

It's crazy what a few years and having to pay complete attention can do to a movie you've seen 100x before. Dan, Takeru, and Michel sit down to discuss Amelie. While some find it better than before, others find it old hat. Join us as we try to flesh out this cult classic.

"Let's just say I'm going to give him a little something extra with my hand." - Dave Skylark Yes, yes, yes, we know this is old news now, but trust me we watched it christmas day....we just had trouble trying to record it. But Clarence, Dan, & Michel sit down and discuss the BIGGEST FILM OF THE YEAR....on VOD.

"I was raised to be charming, not sincere." - Cinderella's Prince This episode we sit down and discuss the Golden Globe darling Into the Woods. Dan is a no show so we're forced to call in back up, by the name of Michael Filanc composer extraordinaire. Michel loose his mind and Clarence falls in love with musicals....And everyone is still to this very moment trying to figure out what was going on.

First TBT of the year and we think we started it off right. New host calls in from NYC to give his take on the Gene Hackman classic The Conversation. As the guys talk over the main points and their fear of Florida, you the listener get to enjoy the ride.

The last and final pick of our Holiday flicks comes from Michael, who picked this obscure Christmas family film called The Family Stone. We discuss the crazy affair of the "holiday family get-together" and how awkward and weird and strange they can be, and how the film works to get some of that just right. The film stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Craig T. Nelson, Claire Danes, Rachel McAdams, Luke Wil...

The second holiday classic we watched was the John Hughes-written, Chevy Chase-filled, christmas extravaganza Christmas Vacation; the third film in the National Lampoon's Vacation saga. This movie was chosen by Dan, and is a film he see's without question every year around the holiday's! Also, this is our first "commentary" episode, so dust off that VHS copy and follow along at home as we chat ove...

This is the first of our next four podcasts that are all Throw Back Thursday episodes, covering each of our favorite holiday films we watch every year. Clarence was up first and picked the winter-classic, Home Alone! Stay tuned for future picks in the coming weeks leading up to the New Year!

I swear, you two are the most fucked up people I've ever known and I specialize in fucked up. - Tanner Bolt This week Dan picked the newest offering from David Fincher, Gone Girl. As always "Spoiler Alert!" as we go super deep into this twisted story and all parts of the film are up for discussion and debate!
