Welcome back to a brand new season of Doorward Thinking! We have several new features to share, like a book club and new ways to interact with the team, so stay tuned till the end to hear all the details. Today's episode is all about resolutions and goal setting. The team talks about why we need goals, how to be successful, and what to do when you fall a little bit short.

In this episode the team completes laying the discussion for everything that is to come with a discussion on the true meaning of self care and how it can better not only our own lives but the lives of others. In addition, the Japanese concept of Ikigai - our reason for living - is examined, as well as an assertion on where happiness lies.

In this fast-paced episode the team discusses the maxim 'Know Thyself' and delves into the process before endorsing a two pronged approach. We further analyze a critique of those who say knowing ourselves is a detriment to the human experience, and give thoughts into the role of technology in knowing who we are.

Join Nate and Dan as they welcome Doorward Thinking's first guest, friend of the show Nick Eberhardt. Nick shares his thoughts about the accommodations we make in life and the work place. The trio also takes time to discuss the phenomenon of conformity and the importance of thinking critically in deciding when to go against the grain.

The team gathers together after their Thanksgiving meal to talk about the history of the Thanksgiving holiday, give their thoughts on gratitude, and share what they are thankful for this year.
