In part three of the Orthodoxy series, Pastor Jeffrey shares the pursuit of truth being a necessary process to the Christ-follower.

In response to an ever-shifting world, the Church has three options. Listen as Pastor Jeffrey presents the origin of Orthodoxy and the one biblically correct response.

If I place my trust in what is true, I will live a life rich in purpose and peace. If I place my trust in what is not true, I will live a life void of purpose and peace.

  There is a remarkable correlation in Scripture of a life of servanthood as the catalyst to a life of joy. The most beautiful story ever is, too, the most selfless. And it is proof that joy begins here. 

My natural inclination as a human is not to inherently look for, nor instinctively express, joy in all occasions. It's just not. However, I can learn to be joyful. If I am awaiting the absence of life's burdens to experience true joy... I will live a long, sad, and sorrow-filled life of bitterness and regret. Both sorrow and joy are simultaneously a part of my journey as a Christian.

Learning to live with joy is potentially one of the most challenging exercises for the Christ-follower. But learning to live with joy will too be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling and completing and freeing exercises for the Christ-follower.

In the concluding sermon of the (re)born to lead series, Pastor Jeffrey reminds us that a life void of discipline is a life rich in regret.

If Christian leaders passionately and wholeheartedly pursued honesty in every arena of life, Christianity would be much more appealing to a lost world. Honesty, though not always easy to accept, is always best to receive.

Selfish ambition always reaps destruction. Ambition that is squarely positioned on God's glory and the prosperity of His Church will always impact culture for the good.

As a (re)born leader, I cannot keep silent. I cannot live passive. I do not have such a luxury. Because if I say nothing, I am actually saying a lot. My silence says that Christ is not worth defending.

No other religion forces me to face the truth about myself and then leads me to action as does Christianity. Listen as Pastor Jeffrey answers the question, "Why Christianity?"

If we do not strive to become more knowledgeable of the religious beliefs + practices of the world, we become ineffective in leading our world away from the emptiness of any religion at odds with Christianity.
