DOJO and DYNAMITE

The return of Dojo and Dynamite, or is it? Only time will tell. Corporate Okada has joined the Elite, Kenny Omega has been fired and AEW has returned to fever pitch (hopefully).

So we are back, Forbidden Door is in the books and it is time to discuss the landscape of AEW and NJPW after the stellar event in Toronto and to gather our feelings about the podcast.

We have returned to recap the Revolution and discuss the future of deathmatch wrestling with Circle6 and GCW. The rebirth of Jericho with his appreciation group and the debut of Jeff Hardy. William Regal has aligned the stars or Moxley and Danielson as they run rampant across the tag division. 

We discuss the future and the of the union of Dojo and Dynamite and The World on GCW event in Hammerstein Ballroom. 

The first episode of the new year happens to be episode 100 so thank you to everyone that has joined us along the way and continues to listen amidst our wild reactions. This week we cover a small amount of Wrestle Kingdom, mostly Okada, GCW as we gear up toward Hammerstein and AEW's changing of the guard with ReDragon and Adam Cole. 

The long awaited debut of Hook on Rampage as the world has come full circle. Hook took on Fuego and did exactly what as tasked of him. Cody continues to meddle with the fans while GCW gears up for Hammerstein. Winter is Coming is the 100th episode of Dojo and Dynamite (and Deathmatches) so we will see what that stellar show brings. 

After a somewhat up and down Dynamite, Cody saves the day with a flaming table spot to remember. We discuss the reason for the flat feeling while discussing the New Japan situation as well and the possibility of GCW growing with the ROH talent. 

We discuss our feelings on the current product and the evaluation of AEW. The reasoning behind why Rampage is lacking, while discussing the excitement surrounding GCW Hammerstein and the potential return of Jon Moxley. 

We are back this week with Dojo, Dynamite, and Deathmatch talk as we discuss last weeks Bloodsport, Impact's Bound for Glory, the happenings in Ring of Honor and the reason why Rampage has not been compelling. The TBS Tournament is in full swing while Kenny Omega will be challenged by Adam Page at Full Gear. 

GCW Weekend in Atlantic City is part two of this weeks Dojo and Dynamite and Deathmatches podcast, or just episode 95 for those following at home. Moxley tackled Gage in the main event while Effy is the Internet faces Cardona to defend his Internet Championship. Minoru Suzuki takes on Joey Janela and we discuss something off about Rampage.

Part One of the amazing Atlantic City GCW weekend kicks off with Dynamite as Bobby Fish tackles Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship. Arn Anderson burns Cody's suits at his own house while Serena Deeb plays spoiler to Hikaru Shida's 50th win. We just sit and appreciate Christian Cage and CM Punk being back on TV and wrestling again.  

AEW Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe was a massive success and we talk about the experience and the event as well as the amazing weekend of GCW from Queens. We also discuss the events of WWE and we walk you through our emotional teenage years. 

The first Dynamite in the tri-state area comes to Newark and Dojo and Dynamite are on the case. Cody returns to attack Black while the Suzuki Incident is resolved with a beatdown of Moxley and Kingston. Adam Cole is in his first action in AEW against Kaz while Darby and Sting find new challengers. GCW hosted two major events this weekend and the G1 31 is underway in New Japan. 

In the recovery of Hurricane Ida and the whirlwind weekend of All-Out, we talk AEW and deathmatches while ranting about NXT. We document our entire weekend while discussing the implications of Adam Cole, Ruby Soho, and Bryan Danielson.

The week before All-Out the world is awaiting the arrival of Bryan Danielson and the wrestling return of CM Punk. Britt Baker faces Kris Statlander while the Young Bucks have another dance with the Lucha Bros. Christian Cage has a chance to be double champ and dethrone Omega in the main event while the Women's Casino Battle Royal has a chance to surprise. 

CM Punk stood at home in the United Center in the face of 20,000 fans and millions at home. The deafening roar led to the most momentous event in professional wrestling. SummerSlam happened over the weekend and the GCW Off the Rails has raised the bar. 

The first ever Rampage saw Christian Cage reward his peeps with an Impact World Championship win over the long-standing Kenny Omega. Britt Baker defended against Red Velvet and Fuego became All-Elite. Resurgence aired from the Coliseum in Los Angeles and Tama Tonga returned to the ring while Tanahashi and Ospreay appear to be headed toward the forbidden door. 

NXT is revamped. AEW is adding a new hour. Adam Cole might be free while Cody might be retired. Juventud wrestled for the first time on TNT in 20 years while Adam Page was eliminated by the Elite. GCW No Signal happened and Rich wore a Zack Ryder shirt to CZW Tournament of Death 2015.

This is an episode of almost everything, from GCW to Impact and AEW/NJPW in-between. This was a backlog including the building of Adam Page and his future while discussing the possibilities of CM Punk and Brian Danielson. The 85th episode of Dojo and Dynamite is night one of the 3rd annual Fyter Fest and the matchup for the FTW Championship between Ricky Starks and Brian Cage. Britt Baker lays down the challenge to Nyla Rose while Yuka Sakazaki returns to action. Tommy End returns to address Cody and Christian Cage is up against Matt Hardy to finish the 20 year old rivalry. 

The first Dynamite back on tour, AEW delivered with the surprise of Malakai Black and the Street Fight for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. A mixed gender tag team match, a trios rivalry, and a QT/Cody Strap match made for a wonderful return for AEW. 

With two major Dynamites to cover and the return of Wednesdays imminent, huge AEW World title implications are at hand as Adam Page seems to be the only man left for Omega. Which buck wore it best is back with new mustaches, while Britt Baker gears up for her match against Nyla Rose. Miro is God's favorite champion and Sammy Guevara may not have gotten what he deserved in Wednesday's main event.&n...

In an odd and rare two week preview, Jungle Boy will be up against Kenny Omega on Saturday while MJF finally collides with Sammy G next Wednesday. Adam Page is eyeing the AEW World Championship while Wardlow and Hager had a cage fight last week. Andrade is here and the Women's division is heating up with new potential additions coming soon. 

The TNT title was defended against fan favorite Evil Uno while the Bucks collided with Death Triangle and Kingston. Elite Hunter Kaz cannot be stopped as he continues his path of vengeance, striking those closest to The Elite. Hangman and 10 team up again, this time against Team Taz, while the absolutely ageless Christian Cage tears it up with Angelico in a way to get his hands on Matt Hardy.&nbsp...

NJPW's second biggest show of the year Dominion was in full swing, crowning a new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, while the fallout from Double or Nothing led to the major debut of Andrade "El Idolo". New faces in new places and new champs that run the camp, that is the theme of this weekend's wild wrestling adventure.
