In this weeks episode, I relate my journey to the field of Ethiopic Studies and some of the challenges I faced.

It is no secret, there is a surge of deacons in North America.  With this new number of deacons joining the clergy circle however, there also appears to be a problem that has risen.  Namely, how should young American/Ethiopian (or Eritrean) Deacons retain the traditions of Ethiopia/Eritrea while living abroad.  

I promise this is not just for "young" kids!  I always say, we tend to be the meanest to the people we love the most: our parents!  Obeying parents is not just a good thing to do but a commandment from God.  In spite of this, many folks are very unhappy with their relationship they have with parents. In this episode we talk about how to win an argument against your parents!  Hope you enjoy!
