There are many Christians who by their attitude and actions make us want to cringe. We need a new brand of Christians who will reflect who Jesus is in our everyday lives.

Matt & his family huddle up to share their personal experiences of being in the 'spotlight' of ministry and what they have learned in each season and where they are at now in their faith as a family.

Doubt. It happens to us all no matter what. We have doubts that things will work out or that God will come through or that He even hears our prayers. No matter our doubt...God can handle it.

Truth is, we all feel inadequate in our lives. But that is honestly the best place to be. When we get honest with God we see that HE can do amazing things through us and make us more than adequate and capable.

Jesus came to earth to bring us hope, peace, life, and a full life. He wants the best for us and has given us each a unique part to play in the story of the Gospel. Will you take the step into your next chapter?

Satan wants to make us feel like we don’t need people and that God didn't already conquer sin. But God came to win the war and our hearts.

The story of Mary is infamous. But what if we took a closer look to see that we can find our own stories reflected in Mary's experience of faith, trust, and prayer with God.

It is natural for us to think that our ways are the best ways. But when God is involved, that is never the case. When God is involved, his way is always going to be the best way. That doesn't mean it's going to be the easiest way or the most convenient way or most comfortable way. But it will always be the best way.

There's a great big, lost world out there that God has called us to reach. He didn't say come and be comfortable, he said go and make disciples.

Our new mission statement here at Discovery is: One More. One More person we can share the Good News of Jesus with. And if each of us say “Yes” to reaching just one person in the next couple years we will see double the kingdom impact. That’s a lot of changed lives.

All of us know what it's like to be in the belly of the fish. Where you were stuck, where you were depressed, where you were discouraged, where you were hurting and helpless and had no options. But what you do when you're in that place is what matters. Where you go with that pain is what makes all the difference. And it did for Jonah. He stopped running and turned to God.

God has done great things over the past twenty years through Discovery but we believe there is more, WAY MORE, that He wants to do in and through us!

God gives us grace in various forms. And so we want to avoid temptation if we can, but we can't always. God doesn't lead us into temptation, but sometimes He allows it in our lives. It's going to happen, but He promises it will never happen at a level where we can't get out of it.

I need forgiveness but what Jesus is saying is forgiveness comes with a condition. I can have it as much as I want it, but I have to give it. And I need to forgive others, like my forgiveness depends on it.

We're here today because Jesus surrendered his will to the will of God. He was willing to say Your kingdom come, Your will be done. That's why we're even here in the first place is because somehow Jesus knew that he could trust God over himself.

Just like in any other conversation or relationship, it is important to know who we are talking to and vice versa. The same goes for our relationship with Jesus. He deeply desires for us to know Him because He already knows us!

Have you ever talked to God honestly like you would a friend? The good news is...we can 100% go to God with all our doubts, questions, and even brutally honest thoughts. He can handle it. But most importantly, He wants to hear from us.

We can often get to a point in our lives where we question if we have a purpose. It's easy to lose sight of our purpose in this life but God wants to remind us that we are truly made for something great.

We have all been designed with a unique purpose. There is only one you! Listen in as Val talks about how we can discover the ways we have been gifted to live out our God given purpose.

What is our first calling or purpose in this life? What are we truly "made for"? Well...we are made for someone. And that someone is the Creator of the Universe who designed us personally with a unique purpose.

Following a life fully designed for us by God involves setting down and letting go of distractions in our everyday lives.

When it comes to direction and change, most of the time God doesn't give us the details...just directives.

God says that He will provide us with a peace that is far beyond our understanding. That when we find ourselves in anxiety and worry, He will be us with through it.

We can treasure a number of things here on earth that we think holds value, but everything falls short when it comes to our eternal God. He values us high above any treasure we can find on this earth.

When God calls your name, your special, just-between-you-and-Him name, it will awaken in you the deepest, truest experience and understanding of who you are and who you were always meant to be.
