Hannah’s thanksgiving celebration teaches us a lot about how to praise God. She was preoccupied with the nature of God. Her focus was not on herself, but the character of her God. When the heavens are silent and the shut-off valve of God’s blessing is closed, is when most of us learn to pray. That was the situation with Hannah.
