I can’t even begin to understand but it’s important to note, people who state they don’t pick and choose what the Bible says actually do. Jesus made mention no one can make it into heaven with the burden the Bible demands. It’s true. So make the decision that the Bible is a parable and take the important stuff in and the odd details are the trees keeping you from seeing the forest.

Logic can be spun around with the many stories in the Bible. Mercy, murder, forgiveness, original sin, innocence, kindness, do this and that… read all of it, as a parable, where one message is more important than the tangent data.

Those who take the Bible as black and white don’t understand parables. Those who don’t understand parables are Pharisees. Good luck everyone. Includes muse. Raise your kids with morals and we won’t need laws to make them moral.

We only have two eyes. We see what’s in front of us but not the universe around us. We make decisions but only see how it applies to us. God and his angels see more and know more. Trust that we don’t know everything and life will be more peaceful.

Representative Bobo from Colorado infuriated me today. She calls herself a Christian and in front of non-challenging evangelist belts off a joke that goes against everything Christ preached. Why did the evangelist even chuckle? Ludicrous. Even my children know more Bible than her. They are forced to read it with me everyday but still, at least they learn what it means to call yourself a Christian…...

Don’t teach wisdom is you don’t plan to act wise. It’s worse for your listeners and Jesus.

We read Paul trying to unwind powerful Jewish leaders teachings. That you have to be Jewish first before being a Christian.

Feeding and clothing the poor is a requirement when judgment comes. This includes visiting them. My kids and I talk about the service and actions Jesus needs us to do for stewardship consideration.

How successful people have to believe in their research and prep. To understand all the data around them. Then faith gets build so high, everyone else will see it as well.
