Ian’s turn to teach the Bible 01.07.2022 27:07
Ian researched what it means to be non-argumentative. How that is actually spiritual.
So what is natural as described by the Apostle Paul? 30.06.2022 21:08
I can’t even begin to understand but it’s important to note, people who state they don’t pick and choose what the Bible says actually do. Jesus made mention no one can make it into heaven with the burden the Bible demands. It’s true. So make the decision that the Bible is a parable and take the important stuff in and the odd details are the trees keeping you from seeing the forest.
Brutality in the Bible 29.06.2022 29:08
Logic can be spun around with the many stories in the Bible. Mercy, murder, forgiveness, original sin, innocence, kindness, do this and that… read all of it, as a parable, where one message is more important than the tangent data.
Still tough subject and talk on rape. I wanted my daughter to understand the dangers. 26.06.2022 27:07
We talk about David’s family and how rape, incest, lack of action by the King, lead to murder, ousting of David as King (and he knew he deserved it) and the gray area that is baby death versus abortion. Why isn’t it specifically in the Bible? Abortion has been around thousands of years before Christ. Shouldn’t it have been discussed? History of the church (before voting was a thing) abortion was n...
24JUN2022 is a pivotal moment in political history. Plus we had coconut rice. 25.06.2022 25:07
Those who take the Bible as black and white don’t understand parables. Those who don’t understand parables are Pharisees. Good luck everyone. Includes muse. Raise your kids with morals and we won’t need laws to make them moral.
News threw me for a loop today. School serving the poor children of an area is no longer “Catholic” 24.06.2022 20:09
There is a bit of Mosaic law that will never go away. Throwing out the women from camp during their monthly? Gone. Killing men and women who commit adultery? Gone. Being able to sell your daughter? Gone. Kill those who worship other Gods? Gone. Don’t eat pork? Gone. Don’t lend with interest rates? Gone. Yet some things don’t go away. Love covers a multitude of sin. We seem to forget it’s not about...
Some prayers sound like groaning. Especially if her name is Remy. 23.06.2022 11:08
So our trip to America’s West was derailed by my daughter. I believe that was also a blessing from God.
What has Christian conservatives become? Mosestians? Kill everyone who opposed us? 22.06.2022 25:08
This country is getting scary. Politics is more like a major league sports rivalry but with the country’s future in jeopardy. Raise your children at home with wise fear of the world not hatred of it.
Scripture at odds with each other? Most of the time there are simple explanations. 21.06.2022 30:08
We talk about money and clothes in this conversation of Dinner and a Bible.
Happiness and Pizza. This is a long discussion that’s so important to the kids. 20.06.2022 49:08
The unrealistic societal expectation for success is from the devil. Happiness is so easily robbed from those who think their future is predictable. This is a long conversation. Hope you can listen all the way through.
Gods angels have many many eyes. Ezekiel 10:12, Rev 4:2 18.06.2022 21:08
We only have two eyes. We see what’s in front of us but not the universe around us. We make decisions but only see how it applies to us. God and his angels see more and know more. Trust that we don’t know everything and life will be more peaceful.
I rarely get riled up by news articles. I usually file them in my mind as “what a disappointment” 16.06.2022 10:09
Representative Bobo from Colorado infuriated me today. She calls herself a Christian and in front of non-challenging evangelist belts off a joke that goes against everything Christ preached. Why did the evangelist even chuckle? Ludicrous. Even my children know more Bible than her. They are forced to read it with me everyday but still, at least they learn what it means to call yourself a Christian…...
Rough rough plane ride. 16.06.2022 12:07
So we discussed vomit. Yup, rough plane rides can do that to people. So, fresh on their minds, I explain how God uses that visual.
Kids turn to pick scripture. Interesting choices 15.06.2022 26:08

I’m the Caymans doing house church. 13.06.2022 17:19
Wisdom is the foundation of all good, perseverance leads to hope, Jesus held data back because our human form and intelligence isn’t enough to understand how God built the Universe and our place in it.
Pride month. If you don’t see the Bible as a parable, the favorite communication of Christ… 06.06.2022 17:08
We need to get into the heart of Christ’s message. Moses, Paul, Peter, and the other prophets relayed what they saw and heard. Christ said what God said. If there was an entity on this earth that would have put gay hate in the scriptures, it would be the two biggest religions on earth. Yet there is no hate speech from Jesus that was placed on record, none, zip, only from people that had a preferen...
What is salt if it’s not salty? It’s basically good as sand or dirt. Not worth saving. 05.06.2022 10:08

Short answer is yes. Money makes you rich but for how long? We discuss how money is an amplifier of who you are. Responsible or not? Appreciative or not? Let’s discuss.
Feeding the poor can be dangerous. Is it wise to do? 28.05.2022 13:08
Feeding and clothing the poor is a requirement when judgment comes. This includes visiting them. My kids and I talk about the service and actions Jesus needs us to do for stewardship consideration.
Faith. It’s very hard to increase. 27.05.2022 21:08
How successful people have to believe in their research and prep. To understand all the data around them. Then faith gets build so high, everyone else will see it as well.
24MAY2022. Sadness. 19 small kids died in Texas because of an 18 yr old shooter. 26.05.2022 33:22

When do we turn the other cheek? 24.05.2022 21:07
The Bible actually breaks down the definition in the Amplified version. This is why a person should read many versions of the same scripture. The word “insignificant” is significant.
What’s in a name? 22.05.2022 12:08
Back in ancient times names were important. They represented the historic reason for the child; the emotional piece, or the reason of birth.
