Keep on keeping on 27.02.2021 8:31
Been a tough week. I report to three people in two different orgs but this is a good reminder to do your best. That’s all you can control.
Burning Sensations had a one hit wonder in the 80’s about three lonely days. 25.02.2021 14:06
Why was Jesus comparing himself to Jonah. You know how I feel the Bible is a huge parable but when Jesus speaks about Jonah, I’m going to believe Jonah wound up in a fish. There must be more to the story but I’ll ask questions when I meet Jonah. Faithful I make it and that he is there with a whopper of a fishing tale ready to go.
You can have the world...until you don’t 24.02.2021 12:05
It’s hard to see the detriment money and fame can have. The devil doesn’t want the truth that most cannot handle this kind of financial power.
Fasting. A tough topic but the explanation is pretty easy to understand. 24.02.2021 16:32
Fermentation of wine can only happen with new wine skins. An interesting example.
Confession of sins. That’s always been tough for me. To tell a priest how horrible I’ve been. 24.02.2021 14:22
Act of reconciliation is an important part of Christianity. Once I became a dad, I see how hard it is to help my kids if they don’t tell me the whole story; especially when they are holding back fault.
Believe in Jesus 24.02.2021 12:52
The devil believes in Jesus but what we’re asked to do is believe with trust. That is a much harder proposition.
Who do you say I am? 24.02.2021 24:55
Have you ever asked what people thought of you? Sometimes, admitting something is the best medicine. Vow of love in a marriage and hugging your kid and telling them they are the best. In my case these items are from the Homy Spirit.
Forgiveness. Not an easy topic as we grow older. 24.02.2021 17:32
As a kid, a football game or a movie with friends made everything better. As a twenty something professional, if I wasn’t depressed I was seething with bitterness. Playing the blame game. Not what Jesus wants from any of us.
Lent has begun 24.02.2021 21:02
Interesting story about humility
Poverty is no joke. 17.02.2021 18:00
Every time I see this scripture I cringe. I’m from a poor background and this is a very challenging scripture. God bless us all.
Looks can be deceiving 16.02.2021 21:44
It’s a tough life. It’s even tougher when your spiritual leaders are the worst men ever. Yikes.

We are going through definitions and command priorities. Join in on the fun.
Question the question... 14.02.2021 20:25
Framing a theory verses an open mind creates strange questions.
Jesus walked away after seeing the temple. Probably to cool down and think things through. 13.02.2021 15:55
People just lost all respect for place and the heart of what mattered most. The love for God verses processes.
Sometimes I read something and think, “Jesus, that wasn’t fair...” 12.02.2021 9:32
Sometimes we need to look at Jesus’s actions a little closer. Plus, PG dad joke warning.
Follow the Word and everything will be fine 10.02.2021 14:12
Taking off with someone’s live stock is a major crime. So how did the disciples do it? Following closely on what to say and when to say it.
Silly question but a wise one 09.02.2021 12:24
Specificity is biblical. Hoping my kids learn that praying to the all knowing God still require the statement of specific goals. Without it, miracles are just coincidences.
Sunday night during COVID. 08.02.2021 31:59
Discuss the Sunday scriptures and then we recorded our Game Night. I hope you don’t think we are horrible parent’s because this game is indicative of their pre-teen / teen age group.
Even the 12 Disciples had a hard time getting along...and that’s not including Judas 07.02.2021 18:06
We rediscover the wonderful world of being contentious, it’s discord on a group, and this includes families.
How many commandments did God hand out? 06.02.2021 16:36
Moses gave 10 commandments but God (via Jesus) gave a different number. Plus, a personal invitation from Jesus is sadly turned down.

We reference The 5 Languages of Love to define love from Children, God, and Adam.
A demon inside the temple listening to scripture...interesting 01.02.2021 30:34
Just because someone knows the Bible doesn’t mean the follow God. A good lesson for my kids.
No faith without miracles? 29.01.2021 21:20
Sometime we live like that. Where we doubt Christ. Miracles don’t happen. If we stop believing in coincidences, then a person might just start to see the miracles that God gives us every day.
Tradition is good...but not all the time. 26.01.2021 25:07
Kids discuss traditions and origins of such things.
Sunday in house discussion 25.01.2021 32:45
Commitment. Even non-Jews were given salvation during Jonah’s time. As long as the commitment was there, so was God.
