Jesus knew braggarts and he also knew people contemplating and looking for help. He thought the latter was important for God to have a relationship with.

The amplified Bible is a nice to read. It gives me a great laughs but also leads me to ponder more ideas of what God wants me to know.

Faith can be enhanced by hardships but I don’t want hardships for my kids. I pray they can find faith without the experience I had to go through.

So discussing love with kids is always unpredictable. Although I predict you can guess which one says love is a trap :)

As kids we tend to focus on other things, tik tok, screen time, and some “me me me” moments. Understanding wisdom is more knowledge of your weakness, strength, and others.

Jesus can’t help those who believe in their righteousness above his empathy for humanity. Including the scientific allowances he blesses us with.

In a manner of speaking, Mountains and Oceans are no longer a difficulty for communicating and travel. In 2021, you can easily Face Time or buy a plane ticket to anywhere, including “seeing” what’s happening in Israel.

It’s hard when the origin of hate is in the Bible.

Power sometimes takes away empathy. Which is tough since they are the ones that can change lives the most.

Once again I teach my kids to have faith Jesus and God is real, loving, and cares for us. Many out there mutate Christianity on tidbits and leave the whole of the Bible to rot into obscurity. You can’t have both. You NEED understanding in every sense of the word.

I fell away from the Catholic Church only to discover other churches have the same issues. I’ll stake my home in this faith and train my kids to think independently via the Bible and the parables of God.

Sometimes it’s hard who to believe. Follow the wisdom. Science is God. There isn’t enough money in the world for entire sector of the population to die willingly. Read and pray. Pray for the world.

The Bible is an interesting guide. The whole of it must be read and don’t limit your brain by seeing literally. Look at it as a whole like you would a parable. A point I always make to the kids. Scripture should only be challenged by scripture.

Today we discuss these items of Kingship, loyalty, and power…with an 11 year old and a 14 year old. Yikes!

Some people don’t mind being alone. Monks, Unibomber, and hermits. What fruit they produce is the important aspect. Faking it until you make it, can get you scorched. Make sure you are giving each step of the way. Giving your kids can experience (better schools), your wife (flexing her schedule for the kids or a new venture), and to you church and community.

Jude was really disappointed at the church. We need to be better. We need to look at prayer as a defense in the Lord Christ Jesus as the goal.
