My first Weekly Word of the 2021 is here - and I have a simple suggestion for all of us as we do our best to stay positive and optimistic with the intention of making this year better than the last!

On this Christmas Eve, I try my best to explain that the best present you can give the ones you most care about, is not a material object. It is your presence and attention. Yeah, I’m mainly passing along this message to myself! Merry Christmas everyone!

This week, I talk about the frustration of packing up everything I own, only to realize that I’ve lost a few things that are very important to me in the process, then to find one of them when I least expected! ⁣Another valuable life lesson learned!

Today, I took some time to be by myself and headed down to the beach - Just Me, Myself and I - for some much needed alone time! I highly recommended that each of us do our best to carve some “Me Time” in our very hectic and demanding schedules! Remember, the only way you’re going to be able to take care of the ones the matter most to you, is to make sure you take care of yourself first!

Today (Yesterday - I forgot to post this) I talk about a family photo I shared on social media and a very kind comment that someone left me that reminded me that we all have the ability to be someone’s light, during these dark times! ⁣ ⁣

Yesterday was #WorldPhotographyDay and I share my love for photography, even though I’m not the best as taking photos - And I encourage everyone to snap away and capture more memories, so that they can live forever!

Today, on my parents 34th wedding anniversary - I talk about the consistent commitment it takes to celebrate such special accomplishments! ⁣ ⁣
