We are so happy to have guest speaker Olivia Pelts with us again.  She is a professional mental health therapist, and she is the coolest.  Join us as she talks about the silence around the holidays.

In something similar to The Screwtape Letters, Hannah talks us through how to be the most effective complainers possible.  Come for the attire, stay for the twist!

It's time to check out everybody's favorite book, Leviticus!  Hannah tries to help us make sense of the rules, laws, and emphasis on holiness.

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's."  You've heard that scripture before, but what does it mean?  Is it really just about taxes?  Hannah jumps in to why what Jesus left everyone speechless.

Today's episode has Hannah taking us through Philippians, and asking the question of how to be Christian.

Today we tackle one of our favorite bible stories of all time - Jonah and the.....  Big Fish.  Is it possible it's not a story meant to be taken literally?  And, does that even matter?  Jump in and see how we're supposed to feel about "Those People".

We took a break from our  normal Sunday routine and invited the crew from Sunshine City Counseling to come chat.  We asked questioned and learned so much about mental health.  Hope you find something you need!

On a rainy Sunday, Hannah introduced us to Jeremiah, the weeping prophet.  We take a look at what happens when Jeremiah is honest with God about how he feels.

Hannah tackles the first few verses in Romans in a way you probably haven't heard before.  What if "not conforming to the world" mean something more than just not drinking, dancing, and going to R rated movies?

This weeks message has us looking at the life of Joseph and talking about how easily he forgave his brothers...  Or maybe, it wasn't quite that simple.  

Have you ever heard the story of Jesus and Peter walking on water?  Hannah jumps in to that familiar passage with an unfamiliar take.  

Sometimes the Bible is really easy to understand, and explain to others.  And sometimes the Bible tells a story of a man wrestling with... God?  And winning?  Hm.  That's weird.  Hannah admittedly had a hard time figuring out the right angle here, but she did a beautiful job interpreting this crazy story.  

Let's talk about "The Kingdom Of God", and how Jesus talked about it.  We are going to focus on four metaphors to discuss what it is, what it isn't, and how the metaphors combine to show us a full picture.

Did you know, the ancient Jews probably believed in more than one God?  It can be argued they did not become monotheistic for quite some time.  What does that all mean?  Great question, and Hannah tackles it in this message, plus lays some groundwork for what The Bible and, specifically, The Old Testament, is.  

This one starts with a quick intro from Jarrett, followed by a song we don't think you'll hear in most churches.  It's from a cartoon called Steven Universe, and the song is "Here Comes A Thought".  We really loved sharing it in service and decided to bring it to the podcast.  Then Hannah jumps into our message about a "stupid farmer" passing out seeds everywhere.
