As the world evolves and generations come and go, we all have a civic duty to understand the communication patterns of the different generations of our fellow citizens. In this episode we hang out with Greg Crumpton and discuss the various ways of communication and the importance of adding communication skills to our toolbag.

I am a manufacturer, distributor or contractor with equipment or tools that I want to get in the hands of a program. How do I decide which programs are in need of what I have and will they even benefit from them? How about a roadmap to grading a program.

We may have been the best technician in the field and yet struggle to be a good technical educator. Why is that? As technicians it is often our job to evaluate the performance and health of an HVACR system. Well what about the health of the structure and the inhabitants within? Today we discuss ways to better evaluate the health of a home and ways to fish for information from the homeowner.

So what happens when problems arise? Many times we go out for out first job nervous as can be and pray that everything goes right. Well what happens when it doesn't? How do you prepare mentally for a stressful conversation? Gerald and I go over the not so pleasent encounters and decisions we find in the field.

Sometimes we need to step back and evaluate the situation, and sometimes we need to start from scratch and complately re-examine the possibilities. It's easy to become myopic and overlook the obvious.

Electrification alone is not sufficient for achieving decarbonization. While electrification can help reduce emissions in some sectors, such as transportation and buildings, there are other sectors, such as industry and agriculture, that will require different approaches to achieve decarbonization.

How about a mental sequence of operation for a gas fired appliance? Joe and I walk through a sequence of operation based on an electrical diagram for your listening entertainment.

Many times we are handed the keys to an HVACR program and told "Good Luck" without a roadmap and with many expectations. Howard joins us today to prepare you for a successful PAC meeting.
