Coach Woody is back with us this week as we talk player development with Tyler Simmons, Director of Player Development for Niner baseball.

In our first "Pride of the Program" episode, we begin exploring the history of Charlotte 49ers baseball by talking to Coach Gary Bartley, the program's founding coach. Coach Bartley was hired in the Summer of 1978 and led the program through the 1979, 1980, & 1981 seasons.

It was a rough week for the Niners, but we're here for you. We talk about the week that was and get you set for the week ahead. We also talk about the reunion of the 1979 baseball team and a special project that we worked on.
