Solomon, The Wise King 1 Kings 1-3 God is generous in giving wisdom to His people. Solomon reigned with great wisdom and insight, yet he was still an imperfect king who needed God's forgiveness. Solomon foreshadows the coming of a greater king -Jeus, in whom are hidden "all treasures of wisdom and knowledge"
