The God-Man came to love the father and show the love of the father by preaching, teaching and demonstrating the kingdom, healing the sick and oppressed.

When we understand our brokenness, and cast ourselves upon the mercy of Jesus, the result is forgiveness of sin, love, and eternal peace. 

That the Word would become flesh and sleep among us not only demonstrates how he embraced the limits of his humanity, but how he was willing to deny himself of it, at the right time, to gain something greater.
